Can you believe it’s already been 13 years since “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” hit the big screen? The iconic characters Andie Anderson and Benjamin Barry had people falling head over heels for the real life duo Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey.
So, we were getting major early-2000’s vibes when Kate gave a cute shoutout to her onscreen partner at the Hollywood Film Awards.

Kate kept her shoes simple with a pair of Gianvito Rossi patent pumps
The ever-ethereal Kate wore a Greek-inspired dress with a plunging neckline from Marchesa’s Spring 2017 collection. The dress is made of a black metallic fabric and is adorned with flower embellishements on one side.
Kate ditched the predictable black strappy sandals for a pair of Gianvito Rossi patent pumps in a warm tone. Oddly, we think the Fabletics founder got away with the unlikely pairing due to her complementing hair color. Or maybe just because she’s Kate Hudson.

Kate presented the Ensemble Cast Award at the 2016 HFAs and at one point in her speech, she had to mention Matthew McConaughey. The actress got a little bit sultry, and spoke Matthew’s name in a hilarious way.
We can’t do it justice through words, so we will let the video of Kate presenting speak for itself.
