Kate Middleton is such a visible and adored public figure, so it’s no wonder she’s always careful to maintain a tasteful, elegant, and fashionable style that impresses without drawing too much attention.

For her visit to the Stewards Academy in Harlow, Essex, on September 16, the Duchess of Cambridge opted for a cheery bright colored dress paired with classic nude pumps.

This royal couple spent two hours touring the school and hearing from faculty, parents, and students about what it’s like entering a new school for the children.
We think Kate’s bright blue modest dress was the perfect accompaniment to a school visit that aimed to boost morale and confidence in students during challenging school transitions.

Kate’s dress is from Altuzarra’s Pre-Fall collection and features a scattering of black and white polka dots on top of a baby blue fabric.
Gatherings at the shoulders and the back enhanced her feminine figure, and the buttoned bodice gave her outfit a retro flair.
Rouched half-sleeves and a V-neckline added some diagonal angles to the otherwise classic silhouette, and a long thigh slit up the side gave the ensemble a hint of playfulness despite the modest hemline.

Kate kept her hair and makeup up to her standard, gorgeous, and not overdone style. She accessorized modestly with earrings and a matching pendant and carried a nude clutch from LK Bennett.

Matching her color and designer clutch, Kate wore a pair of “Fern” Nappa leather heels from L.K. Bennett.

These classy pumps feature pointed toes and 3.9-inch heels.
