Kate Moss was fierce and fabulous as she attended the launch party of the Melissa flagship store held in Covent Garden on Thursday evening.
The iconic supermodel decked herself in standout pieces that included a furry gorilla jacket, a gold-detailed clutch, and leopard-print wingtip boots — all of which were in black.

Because of the monochromatic palette, the attention-hungry goods didn’t seem as busy or as overpowering, and Kate pulled off the whole look with ease.

Wow. Everything about the outfit is spot-on. She looked amazing!
If we’re not mistaken, Kate’s furry jacket is from Topshop. The “Gorilla” topper is made of faux fur and retails at an accessible $150.

And as for Kate’s leopard-print wingtip boots, those are from Alaia — the same pair we spotted on Victoria Beckham back in August. They feature 4.75-inch-tall heels, concealed platforms, and a very unique wingtip design that exposes the printed lining of the shoes when the shafts are folded.
Unfortunately, you will no longer find these boots online because they are completely sold out. If you fancy the unusual silhouette, you’re free to check out this dramatic pair from Bottega Veneta:

For gals on a budget, you can try the following alternatives from Chinese Laundry and Jessica Simpson. Each will cost you less than $200, though we’re not sure if you can actually fold the shafts outward to make them appear like Kate’s boots.
