We love a good shoe-focused collaboration more than most. New York-based label The Blonds and Christian Louboutin have once again worked together to bring us some of the most gratuitously glamorous fashion there ever existed.
If you’re getting tired of the barely-there sandals, nude shoes, and sensible sneakers ruling footwear trends right now, feast your eyes on these 10 pairs of spiked, studded, and crystal-encrusted Christian Louboutin shoes sent down the entirely over-the-top The Blonds Fall 2018 fashion show. 1. Spiked red leather booties worn with a spiked red leather zip bodysuit by Phillipe Blond to open the show.
Phillipe Blond and partner David Blond designed all the pieces for their label and modeled them in all their shows. Phillipe rocked a fierce red leather bodysuit and matching booties to kick off the runway presentation.

2. Red glitter platform booties paired with a black-spiked red leather corset.
Corsets are The Blonds’ signature piece, having had their big break in 2007 when Beyoncé wore a sparkly corset from their first-ever fashion show in her “Upgrade U” music video.

3. Glittery ankle boots worn with a leather-harnessed crystal bodysuit and gold-spiked red stiletto nails.
The Blonds left no detail unnoticed in their glam-’80s punk-themed Fall 2018 show; it was leather on crystals on spikes down to the red-lacquered stiletto nails on a model’s fingerless-gloved hand.

4. Fringed slouchy boots mix-and-matched with a glittery spiked leather-harness corset and a shimmery, reptilian-scale corset.
Fringed boots were mere backdrops to a red, leather-harnessed corset covered in glittery red talons and one seemingly made of shimmery reptilian scales.

5. Shiny, red lace-up booties combined with a red latex jumpsuit and a crystal-mesh bodysuit.
Shiny, red-patent Louboutin boots found their fashion match in a red latex jumpsuit that would make “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer Britney Spears proud.

6. Thigh-high boots in BDSM-ish black leather and skintight stretch suede.
While the baggier boots were styled with fringed jackets and draped corsets, the skintight stretch-suede thigh-highs were unforgivingly paired with constricting leather and crystal-mesh bodysuits.

7. Slouchy platform booties worn with a gold-trimmed angel-print corset and a gold foil jumpsuit.
Slouchy platform booties apparently go well with a gold foil jumpsuit as well as they do with an angel-print corset.

8. Spike-studded, gold thigh-high boots paired with a crystal-encrusted bodysuit.
Up-to-there thigh-high boots take inspiration from fisherman boots and make it their own with studs and gold leather fabrication.

9. Spiked-studded gold booties worn with a gold snake corset.
Upping the ante on a skintight black latexy jumpsuit were spike-studded gold booties and two snakes slithering on a gold corset.

10. Heel-less hoof platform boots worn by Daphne Guinness to close the runway show.
Though Daphne Guinness did not wear Christian Louboutin shoes, she wore one of her signature heel-less hoof platform boots in a glittery finish that fit right into the glitzy show.
David Blond, the other half of the platinum-haired The Blonds, also wore Christian Louboutin shoes in the form of glittery block-heel oxfords.
