Margot Robbie, who was nominated in the Best Actress category for her work in ‘I, Tonya’, hit the red carpet in a custom Chanel dream dress that was designed by Karl Lagerfeld himself. She was joined on the red carpet by Nicole Kidman, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Jennifer Garner, Andra Day, Viola Davis, Emma Stone, Whoopi Goldberg, Gal Gadot, Saoirse Ronan, Jennifer Lawrence, Blanca Blanco, Allison Williams, and Sofia Carson.
The 27-year-old actress dazzled in her ensemble that was styled by Kate Young. “I can’t believe I’m wearing a Haute Couture dress made for me by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel. It’s a fantasy. I feel like myself but still as glamorous as I’ve ever dreamed I would at the Oscars,” Margot said. The 3D crystal tube and camellia embroidery of the straps really got everyone talking. It reportedly took more than 600 hours to craft her dress.
Margot’s gorgeous gown was styled with a high-shine clutch, Chanel Fine Jewelry, and white satin ‘Es’sensual’ sandals by Roger Vivier. Margot was recently announced as the new ambassador for the house of Chanel.
