When asked about their potential collaboration in a romantic comedy, the duo expressed enthusiasm, with Crudup humorously stating, “I’ve always been great at those.”

Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup first crossed paths in 2009 at a Broadway benefit event while she was in an 11-year relationship with Liev Schreiber, with whom she shares two children, Kai and Sasha.
Their professional collaboration on the Netflix series Gypsy eventually blossomed into a romantic relationship in 2017, a year after Watt’s split from Schreiber.
In the psychological thriller, Watts took on the role of a therapist employing an alias to cultivate intimate (albeit unethical) connections with individuals closely linked to her patients, with Crudup portraying her husband.
