In the upcoming Netflix movie Damsel, Millie Bobby Brown is set to take on the role of a dragon-slaying princess who doesn’t need a knight to save her. But on Friday night, at the dark fantasy film’s New York City premiere, the 20-year-old actress couldn’t keep her hands off her fiancé Jake Bongiovi.
I loved how the 20-year-old actress unleashed her inner dragon on the red carpet in a scaly Louis Vuitton dress that alluded to her upcoming movie. She was pictured getting cozy with her fiancé, who was clad in a classic black suit, matching tie, and a white shirt underneath.
The 21-year-old actor and model completed his look with black dress shoes and tinted aviators.

A Family Affair: Millie Bobby Brown Receives Heartfelt Support from the Bongiovis and the Browns
Not only was her fiancé Jake there to support her, but so was his family, including his mom, Dorothea Hurley, and dad, the legendary musician Jon Bon Jovi.
Bon Jovi rocked a black leather jacket over a black shirt and paired the look with dark blue jeans, while Hurley was chic in a black long-sleeved turtleneck tucked into a belted brown suede skirt.

Although Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi’s engagement sparked debate, I’m happy she has met a committed fiancé with a loving family.

Form-Fitting Scaly Dress: A Nod to Her Dragon-Slaying Character
Millie Bobby Brown’s most recent red carpet appearance might be my favorite to date.
The Godzilla vs. Kong actress stole the spotlight from her famous in-law as she was clad in a sheath dress that gracefully flowed over her body, accentuating her every curve without coming off as tacky.
Brown has been a Louis Vuitton ambassador since 2022, so I wasn’t surprised to see her wearing a creation from the French luxury fashion house.
Her figure-hugging dress, which appeared to be constructed of several metals pieced together, was adorned with micro sequins and beaded accents in earth tones, including charcoal, beige, and off-white hues, arranged diagonally to look like scales.

Though the design was intriguing, what caught my attention was the timeless silhouette, which I thought complemented Millie’s figure flawlessly.
The narrow spaghetti straps held the cleavage-baring, plunging sweetheart neckline in place, while the daring hip-high slit allowed the actress to showcase her toned leg.
I appreciate Millie Bobby Brown for pulling off an Angelina Jolie leg pose, constantly sticking her leg out of the split to give us a clear look at her heels.
She slipped her pedicured feet into Louis Vuitton’s “Overnight” sandals featuring monogrammed silver chain straps adorned with sparkling crystals. They also boast suede toe straps and heel counters perched on a 4-inch stiletto heel.

Though I don’t think she needed any extra sparkle, Brown styled her already stunning look with diamond hoops, a silver bracelet, and a two-tone ring from Louis Vuitton High Jewelry in addition to her cushion-cut diamond engagement ring.
I love how her beautiful long brown hair, cascading over one shoulder in beach waves, gave the ensemble a seductive edge. Her stunning glam look was finished with pink blush, lip gloss, and mascara.
Millie seems to have finally found a style that suits her. I hope she sticks with it throughout the Damsel press tour.

Millie Bobby Brown Discusses Damsel in Mermaid Skirt and Colorblock Platform Sandals
Millie Bobby Brown wore a ’90s-inspired outfit earlier in the day when she appeared on the Today Show to discuss her forthcoming Netflix film, Damsel.
I find her chic in a distressed black biker jacket with red and white stripes, which gave the ensemble a rugged touch.
Once inside the studio, Millie removed her jacket to display a more feminine look. She wore a $225 Buci mauve chiffon shrug over a fitted “Ludmilla” tank top in peanut and mauve, also from the New York clothing brand.

Her outfit’s lower half emphasized the vintage vibe of her appearance. She wore a jersey-cut ankle-length mermaid skirt by Buci ($208 at Revolve) with colorblock platform sandals, a major trend in the 1990s.
Her vibrant orange, neon yellow, soft pink viscose, and satin Roger Vivier shoes are striking. I love the splash of neon color they add to the outfit. The 5.5-inch heels and 4-inch hefty platforms enhanced her 5’3″ height, while the bow at the crisscross vamps added a fun touch.

I think Millie looked amazing in this outfit—modest but fun. She opted for streamlined accessories, styling the ensemble with the $1,333 Boyy “Bad Tourist” purse, frameless shades, silver jewelry, and a large set of hoop earrings.
Her beautiful brown locks were fashioned in waves and pulled back into a half-up, half-down style, highlighting her striking features with rich red lips and blush.

Millie Bobby Brown Is No Ordinary Damsel in the New Netflix Fantasy
Millie Bobby Brown reached superstar status after landing her breakout role as Eleven, a teenager with telekinetic powers, in the Netflix sci-fi series Stranger Things. The show’s fifth and final season is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in 2025, but before then, Millie Brown will play a more formidable character in Damsel.
Brown stars as Elodie, “a dutiful, sheltered young noblewoman,” who agrees to marry Prince Henry (Nick Robinson) on a promise that it will benefit her people. However, she learns that the royal family plans to sacrifice her to a dragon to settle an ancient debt. She finds herself trapped in a cave with a fire-breathing dragon and has no one to save her but herself. Her marriage to the prince becomes a fight for survival, giving classic fairy tales an epic twist.

Netflix is set to debut Damsel on Friday, March 8.
