It’s New York Fashion Week, and what better time to celebrate fashion than to honor the movers and shakers in the industry?
This year’s Daily Front Row Fashion Media Awards was held at the legendary Rainbow Room at the Rockefeller Center in New York City. The ceremony highlighted emerging and iconic style stars, giving honors to those who have made a significant impact on the fashion industry this year.
Actress Busy Philipps hosted the high-profile event, which was attended by everyone from supermodels to reality stars and celebrity entrepreneurs.
Here are seven of the best looks from the awardees of the 9th Annual Daily Front Row Fashion Media Awards:
1. Doja Cat in Viktor & Rolf Fall 2022 Haute Couture
Winner of the Breakthrough Fashion Icon award, Doja Cat took power dressing to new heights.

The 26-year-old star wore a Viktor & Rolf Fall 2022 Haute Couture pinstripe suit with exaggerated shoulders and straight-leg trousers. She carried a Puppets and Puppets black top handle bag and added a pop of color with a pair of Steve Madden red platform heels.
As for her beauty look, Doja Cat had heart-stamped brows almost hidden under a pair of sunglasses. She also had a blonde buzzcut and made a bold fashion statement with the anarchist symbol sprayed in red on the back.

2. Lara Stone in The Row
Dressed in all black, Lara Stone stepped out in a loose-fitting suit from The Row.
The Fashion Icon awardee kept her beauty look simple with sleek, center-parted straight hair and a bold red lip for a pop of color. She finished off her look with black square-toed heels.

3. Heidi Klum in Zuhair Murad Resort 2023
Supermodel and TV personality Heidi Klum flaunted her legs in a multicolored embellished mini dress. The Zuhair Murad Resort 2023 creation featured a risqué cut-out detail that showed off some underboob action.
Heidi completed her look with tousled hair, a pink clutch, and metallic pink heels.
She won the Best Fashion TV Series for her hit reality show, Making the Cut, along with co-host Tim Gunn.

4. Karen Elson in Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2012
British supermodel Karen Elson won the Fashion Force award at the ceremony. She looked like an old Hollywood movie star in her glamorous Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2012 gown from Shrimpton Couture.
Karen wore a gold metallic gown with animal print and a thigh-high slit that showed off her embellished open-toed heels. Her striking red hair was swept up in a chic updo to showcase her gorgeous face and drop earrings.
A printed clutch and a bold red lip rounded out Karen Elson’s glamorous look.

5. Olivia Culpo in Carolina Herrera Fall 2022
Celebrity Entrepreneur awardee Olivia Culpo stepped out in an embellished jumpsuit from Carolina Herrera. The Fall 2022 creation featured a strapless design with a deep plunge and a form-fitting silhouette.
She also had Jimmy Choo accessories such as the Vivien clutch and the Spruce pumps.

Jimmy Choo Spruce Pumps, $735 at Mytheresa
The Spruce pumps were crafted from glossy black patent leather and feature a pointy-toe silhouette.
These pumps also have high stiletto heels with dramatic crystal embellishments
6. Maye Musk in a Blue Embellished Suit
In a surprising turn, 74-year-old model Maye Musk was awarded the Breakthrough Model award. It was such a surprise since she’s been working in the fashion industry for 50 years.
Nevertheless, Maye looked fabulous in a blue embellished suit styled with embellished square-toed heels. A chic updo, layered necklaces, and a red lip finished off her look.

7. Gigi Hadid in Jade Cropper Spring 2023
Finally, Gigi Hadid attended the event in a long-sleeved crop top with a denim low-rise maxi skirt from Jade Cropper’s Spring 2023 line. Peeking under her skirt are white pointy-toe pumps to match her white manicure.
The 27-year-old model won the Fashion Collaboration of the Year award for her swimwear collection with Francesca Aiello.
