Rebecca Hall has been busy on the press circuit promoting her new FX and Hulu series, The Beauty, and at 5ft 9½ (176.5 cm) with a US shoe size 9, she’s been using fashion—and especially footwear—to striking effect, delivering one effortlessly chic look after another alongside her press appearances.

Though the show leans into sci-fi body horror, her fashion choices throughout the tour have been polished, chic, and surprisingly playful. And I have to say, her shoe choices in particular really stood out to me.

The Beauty was created by Ryan Murphy and Matt Hodgson, and is based on the comic series of the same name by Jeremy Haun. It follows a group of detectives investigating a series of mysterious deaths linked to “The Beauty,” a sexually transmitted treatment that promises physical perfection but hides deadly consequences. As the body count rises, public panic sets in, and an FBI investigation begins to unravel the truth behind the drug and the powerful forces protecting it.

Rebecca stars as FBI agent Jordan Bennett, alongside Evan Peters as Cooper Madsen, a former Navy SEAL, and Anthony Ramos, who portrays an assassin working for the corporation behind the drug, having taken it years earlier, transforming his 65-year-old body into that of someone in their thirties.

Instead of dressing like her character, Rebecca wore elegant, fashion-forward looks while promoting the show. Each appearance was polished and true to her personal style, from sharp tailoring to standout footwear. She’s been quietly delivering one of the most memorable press-tour wardrobes, and I couldn’t help but notice.

Polished Edge: Leopard Print Layers Paired With Shiny Patent Mid-Calf Boots

Rebecca Hall appeared on ABC News Live Prime with Linsey Davis, looking effortlessly chic and put-together from head to toe. She chose a striking combination of materials, wearing a statement leopard coat with ultra-shiny black patent leather boots.

Her boots stood out to me first. They boasted a high-shine finish that instantly elevated Hall’s look, giving it a sleek, polished edge. I liked that the almond-shaped toes kept the look clean and classic, and the side zip made them easy to get on and off. The boots were finished with cone-shaped heels that gave Hall extra height without looking uncomfortable.

Rebecca paired the boots with the $3,200 “Althea” leopard coat by Nour Hammour, and it was a standout piece! It appeared like printed patent leather at first look, but up close, it was actually made from pony hair. The texture gave the coat depth and richness, while the glossy finish reflected light so strongly it almost looked like patent leather.

Underneath, Rebecca kept things simple with a ribbed black turtleneck and a black leather coat, which she later removed inside the studio.

A pair of black-framed sunglasses with orange-tinted lenses gave her look a retro touch. Her brunette hair was worn down in loose, natural waves, keeping everything relaxed and effortless.

Playful Tailoring: Ulla Johnson Stripes With Lace-Up Ballerina Pumps

I know not everyone will agree, but I really liked Rebecca Hall’s look for her Good Morning America appearance earlier that day. The fun combination of stripes, color, and texture made it feel lively, fresh, and perfect for a morning appearance.

Hall kept her shoes understated, which was smart given how much was going on up top. She wore a pair of nude leather Ulla Johnson “Lola” ballerina pumps that blended seamlessly with the lighter tones in her outfit. They weren’t your typical sharp, pointed pumps. Instead, they leaned into a softer, more delicate silhouette inspired by classic ballet shoes. What set them apart were the lace-up straps that crisscrossed over the foot and wrapped around the ankle. They were finished with heels high enough to give Rebecca’s 5’10” height an extra lift.

Rebecca’s outfit came from Ulla Johnson’s Spring 2026 collection, and I loved how she effortlessly mixed the pieces. She wore the $1,300 “Matteo” brown striped cotton-blend jacket, with a tailored silhouette, notched lapels, and front patch pockets, keeping it polished. Underneath, a chartreuse shirt peeked through at the neckline and cuffs, instantly brightening the look. Instead of matching the jacket with the same brown stripes, she went for the $990 “Motherwell” wide-leg striped pants in a softer yellow tone. The combination could have gone wrong, but it came together more naturally than I expected. The stripes helped tie everything together, while the color contrast kept the look from feeling flat.

Rebecca layered the set under a burnt orange coat, which pulled the whole look together and made it feel warm and lively. Her Polène Cyme Mini bag in textured brown leather complemented the color palette, while a pair of orange-tinted sunglasses finished the look.

Bold in Yellow: Ferragamo Satin Mules Steal the Rome Premiere

Rebecca has been leaning into color throughout The Beauty press tour, and her look at the Rome premiere was no exception. Against the dark backdrop, she immediately stood out in head-to-toe yellow.

Hall wore yellow-gold satin mules with square toes and curved heels that felt modern and sculptural. I liked that they weren’t the obvious choice, especially for a red carpet moment where neutral heels or classic pumps would have been the safe option. The color alone made a statement, but the shape gave them personality. She’s clearly been having fun experimenting with footwear this press tour, and this pair fits right into that streak.

Rebecca wore the mules with a matching yellow satin mini dress from Ferragamo’s Spring 2026 collection. The bodice featured bandage-style pleats across the chest that continued into a sash-like panel draped over one side, adding movement and visual interest to the dress. What really surprised me was the sheer lace insert at the midriff. It revealed a glimpse of skin, keeping the look modern and playful, before the dress fell into a structured, thigh-skimming skirt finished with the same pleated design.

Rebecca kept her styling minimal, which I thought was smart. She skipped heavy jewelry, wearing just a ring for a touch of sparkle. Her hair was pulled back into a loose ponytail with soft, face-framing fringe, and her makeup stayed neutral, letting the vibrant color do all the talking.

Color Play in Rome: Fendi Slingbacks Meet Blue-and-Brown Layering

At the Rome photocall for The Beauty earlier that day, Rebecca Hall stepped out in another colorful look, and this time, I couldn’t get over how beautifully the cool blue tones worked together. It was fresh, sharp, and surprisingly playful.

Rebecca stepped out in a full Fendi look, complete with the brand’s “Colibri Bow” slingback pumps, which immediately caught my eye. What I loved was that the shoes had a lot going on, yet still felt cohesive and well put together. The satin base kept them classic, but the thick, sporty webbed slingback strap, complete with a cushioned heel pad and pull loop, added a modern, athletic touch. They also featured a ruched elastic strap across the foot, adding softness and texture, while the pointed tech-mesh toe was finished with an oversized satin bow, keeping things feminine. Their 3.75-inch spool heels added height and definition to the shoes!

It sounds like a lot, but once you see it all together, it works. The contrast between sporty and feminine details made the shoes interesting from every angle. A pink version is available for $1,300 at Nordstrom, but the blue felt perfect here.

Hall paired the heels with a blue shirt dress, creating a strong sense of cohesion. It featured a crisp collar, button-down front, and a slim matching belt that defined her waist. What surprised me most was the drop-waist detail. I don’t usually gravitate toward drop-waist designs, but this one won me over. The transition to a brown pleated leather mini skirt shifted the entire outfit’s mood, and the contrast with the blue made the look polished and expensive!

Layered over everything was an $8,500 turquoise leather trench coat, also by Fendi. The straight cut, lapel collar, and three-quarter sleeves gave it structure, while the shiny finish and tiny studs kept it eye-catching. It also had cuff straps and a martingale at the back that added depth to the design.

Rebecca kept the styling simple, skipping jewelry and opting for tinted oval sunglasses instead. With so much color and texture already in play, that choice was just right.

Sheer & Sultry: Gianvito Rossi Mesh Heels at the London Premiere

At the London premiere of The Beauty held at Odeon Luxe West End, Rebecca Hall went for a black-and-white look, and even without the splash of color she’s been favoring lately, it still felt bold and eye-catching.

Hall wore the “Organza” sandals by Gianvito Rossi, crafted in Italy from sheer black mesh with suede trims. The open pointed toes added a sharp, modern edge, while the suede ankle straps, finished with the label’s signature ribbon buckle, kept the look elegant.

These sandals, which were balanced on thin 4-inch stilettos, revealed just enough skin to look alluring. I loved how the sheer mesh mirrored the boldness of her top, tying the whole look together. This pair is currently available for $1,145 at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Sheer Strap Detailing Meets Sleek Black Tailoring

She paired the sandals with a Spring 2026 top from Courrèges that instantly grabbed my attention. From afar, the slim white horizontal belt straps looked like bandage detailing, but up close, they revealed flashes of skin, making the piece feel daring and modern.

To keep things balanced, she paired it with sleek black trousers that sat cleanly on the hips and legs, giving the look structure and preventing it from looking too revealing.

Rebecca kept everything else low-key. She wore her hair down in soft, natural waves and finished the look with minimal jewelry—just a pair of stud earrings and a single By Pariah cuff.

Quiet Luxury: Jimmy Choo Etana Mules With Ludovic de Saint Sernin

For the New York premiere of The Beauty, Rebecca Hall leaned into another neutral moment, this time in rich brown tones, and I honestly loved how quiet yet striking it looked.

She chose the Jimmy Choo “Etana” mules in brown leather, and their simplicity felt spot-on. The thong-style crisscross straps in supple nappa leather and square open toes gave them a clean, modern look, while the short water–drop–shaped kitten heels added a subtle sculptural touch. I liked that the heel stayed low and refined, allowing the dress to take center stage.

The same style was worn by Camila Cabello in silver during Paris Fashion Week in 2024, and Rebecca’s brown pair is currently on sale for $716, down from $895, at Mytheresa.

Soft Florals Meet Grommeted Cutouts and Clean Lines

Rebecca wore a brown Ludovic de Saint Sernin floral jacquard gown that skimmed her frame. The one-shoulder bodice hugged her figure perfectly, while a row of metal grommets at the waist created unexpected cutouts, revealing just a glimpse of her skin.

The soft floral fabric was offset by those tougher hardware details, which gave the look a hint of edge. Her dress then fell into a sleek column skirt with a side slit.

Hall kept her styling pared back. With her hair slicked back and Anita Ko ear climbers echoing the grommet detail, the whole look felt modern and quietly powerful.

Red-Carpet Drama: Bella Hadid in Schiaparelli and Matching Red Pumps

Bella Hadid didn’t just show up to the New York premiere of The Beauty—she owned it. Making a guest appearance in the series’ first episode as supermodel Ruby Rossdale, she arrived in full support wearing a striking red Schiaparelli Fall 2025 Couture gown.

The bias-cut dress hugged her figure flawlessly, sculpting every line of her body. It featured a trompe l’oeil bodice with a high halter neckline and molded cups that gave the dress a sleek, sculpted look, while sheer panels at the waist and thighs showed just enough skin to keep it daring.

From there, the fabric flowed into a long, sweeping train that trailed behind her, adding drama and making the red feel even more commanding.

We didn’t get a clear look at her shoes, but it was obvious she chose red pointed-toe pumps. Honestly, I can’t think of a better match. Keeping the footwear in the same bold color made the look cohesive, letting everything flow effortlessly from head to toe.

Bella wore her hair in a side-parted bun, which kept the focus on the gown’s neckline and structure. She finished with Chopard diamonds, including stud earrings and a few rings, just enough sparkle to complement the look.

Soft Contrast: Jessica Alexander’s Pink Gown With Black Pumps

Jessica Alexander looked effortlessly polished at the London premiere, wearing a ruched pink gown by Conner Ives. Since she plays the younger, more “perfect” version of Rebecca Hall’s character after her transformation, the choice made perfect sense to me. The look was romantic, but there was just enough edge to keep it from feeling overly sweet.

It featured a halterneck design with a keyhole cutout at the chest, creating a sultry focal point. The fabric gathered through the waist and hips, hugging her figure while adding texture. It then tapered into a fitted skirt, then opened into a center slit with a soft train flowing behind her.

Instead of going for the usual metallics or pink to match her look, Jessica chose black pumps, which added a modern contrast.

They featured pointed toes, a slim ankle strap, and open sides that showcased the natural contours of her feet. I loved how they tied in perfectly with her sheer black opera gloves!

Alexander finished the look with De Beers diamond jewelry, including a lariat necklace and simple studs, which added just the right amount of sparkle.
