Sabrina Carpenter fearlessly embraced the “naked dress” trend that has been making waves in the fashion industry, joining a bold group of fashion-forward celebrities such as Daisy Edgar-Jones, Ciara, Emily Ratajkowski, and Alessandra Ambrosio.
With her breathtaking Paco Rabanne gown, Carpenter showcased her enviable figure and oozed sophistication and elegance, making her a standout during the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar after-party.

The 23-year-old American singer looked like a modern-day princess in the translucent nude top of the dress with long sleeves and a scoop neckline.
Her dress then transformed into a full white skirt around Carpenter’s waist, complete with front ruching and a faux-corset shape that accentuated her curves.
However, Carpenter’s outfit truly stood out with the ruby, emerald, sapphire, and diamond embellishments and silver tassels that adorned the gown’s neckline, bust, and cuffs. The overall effect was a regal look that commanded attention and admiration.
The singer’s stylist Jason Bolden kept things simple by pairing the gown with a silver hardware bag and a personalized “S.C.” initial ring.

Her silver chrome manicure and glossy mauve lips perfectly complemented the silver tones in her dress and accessories. She donned baby curtain bangs and rocked a blown-out hairstyle to complete her fairytale look.
While Carpenter’s dress stole the show, rumors surrounding her relationship with Shawn Mendes made headlines.
The 24-year-old Canadian singer-songwriter arrived at the after-party in a double-breasted blazer and matching slacks, paired with a sheer turtleneck with a silk collar by Dolce & Gabbana. His little emerald necklace was also the subject of speculation that it was Carpenter’s birthstone.

While the two attended the party, they posed on the red carpet separately.
After the star-studded event, a source spoke to Entertainment Tonight, saying that the two are “seeing each other” and have been “hanging out a lot.”
According to the source, “Shawn and Sabrina are seeing each other. They have been hanging out a lot and trying to keep things low-key. They were at a birthday party together a couple [of] weeks ago and were cute together,” adding that “Shawn is happy.”
The insider also dispelled rumors surrounding Mendes’ relationship with Dr. Jocelyn Miranda, the 51-year-old chiropractor he was spotted with while hiking last month in Los Angeles.
The source said, “He was never dating Dr. Jocelyn Miranda, and it has never been romantic between them.”

Carpenter and Mendes sparked dating speculations when they were first seen together last month when walking together in Los Angeles. The artists could be seen enjoying and having in-depth chats as they matched each other’s strides in a widely shared photograph.
The two were once more seen together earlier this month as they left the Hollywood Hills Gucci store, where Miley Cyrus had the launch party for her most recent album, Endless Summer Vacation, on March 9. Carpenter followed Mendes as he passed through the doorway while holding a drink.
Both musicians have had celebrity-studded relationships in the past. Mendes was initially associated with Hailey Bieber in 2017, but he later dated Camila Cabello for a significant period from 2019 to 2021. The couple spent more than two years in the limelight together and made their breakup official on Instagram.

For her part, Carpenter gained notoriety in 2020 because of her romance with Joshua Bassett and was placed in the middle of a well-publicized love triangle involving the 22-year-old actor and his ex-girlfriend Olivia Rodrigo.
Fans started speculating after the album launch that many of the breakup songs on the 20-year-old singer’s debut album Sour were about her split with Bassett and his new relationship with Carpenter.
