Rumors about a Sex and the City reboot surfaced during the holidays. Just two weeks ago, HBO Max finally confirmed that Sex and the City will return to the small screen for a limited 10-episode run.
The reboot, which will be called And Just Like That…, is set to begin production this spring. No expected date for release has been announced yet.
All six seasons of Sex and the City are available to stream on HBO Max now. The film adaptions can be found on Netflix.
Sarah Jessica Parker will be reuniting with Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon for the revival of the hit romantic comedy-drama series.
And while Kim Cattrall won’t be reprising her role as Samantha Jones in the sequel, SJP said they are not looking for a fourth character.
“We’re not looking to create a fourth character, we have New York City as a fourth character and it will be an interesting new character that we are excited about,” she told Adam Glyn of Adam’s Apple YouTube channel.
Sarah Jessica, Kristin, and Cynthia all shared a video teaser of the SATC series reboot to their social media accounts recently.
SJP captioned her post: “I couldn’t help but wonder… where are they now? X, SJ”

Each of the leading ladies—SJP, Kristin, and Cynthia—will reportedly earn more than $1M per episode for the upcoming reboot.
But while she’s set to receive a $10M paycheck for the spinoff, Sarah Jessica continues to personally serve her customers at her shoe store in New York City.
