Did Jennifer Lawrence have a diva moment? During a midday stop at New York’s Alexander Wang store in February 2016, the store reportedly shut its doors and drew its curtains, much to the dismay of a few customers who wanted to get in.
Jennifer was photographed leaving the store with full shopping bags.

A few weeks later, Ariana Grande did a hilarious impression of Jennifer Lawrence on Saturday Night Live.

Poking fun at Jennifer‘s tendency to tell everyone she’s a regular person, Ariana wore a blonde wig and pretended to be Jennifer as she played a game of Celebrity Family Feud and said, “They told me not to do a game show, but I was like, ‘Screw it, I can have fun, I’m a regular person!’”
“You know, you say you’re a regular person more than any regular person I know,” Kenan Thompson as television presenter Steve Harvey responded.
Facing down Taran Killam as Quentin Tarantino up at the buzzer, Grande once again trolled Lawrence when naming “bad habits you just can’t quit.”

“I’m just like a snackaholic, I mean I love Pringles,” she said in a sexy cleavage-baring white dress. “If no one’s looking I’ll eat like a whole can, like every day is my cheat day, you know what I mean?”
“That’s what other people have said,” Jennifer Lawrence told Vogue in August 2017 and added that Ariana Grande’s impersonation was “spot f—king on.
“If I’d said, ‘I’m a regular person,’ I’d want to kill myself,” JLaw said.

For some retail therapy at the Alexander Wang store, the intelligent actress wore black jeans with a white tee underneath her Alberta Ferretti coat.

The “Joy” star accessorized her shopping look with sunglasses from Sunday Somewhere, a clutch from Victoria Beckham Collection, and “Tara” boots from Alexander Wang.

The people over at TMZ speculate that the Alexander Wang store may have initiated the lockdown since Jennifer was later spotted shopping at Isabel Marant without drawn curtains.
And, let’s face it, it’s just not like the down-to-Earth celeb to ask a place to shut down.

Shopping in Alexander Wang while wearing the label’s “Tara” boots probably won’t result in a complete shutdown a la Jennifer Lawrence, but we promise you will look seriously stylish regardless.
You can order your own pair over at Ssense or Saks Fifth Avenue.
