Styled by Los Angeles-based stylist Samantha McMillen, Daisy Ridley rocked custom vegan shoes from Jimmy Choo to the premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker on Monday in Hollywood.

The 27-year-old actress, who plays the role of the main protagonist Rey in the latest Star Wars trilogy, donned a custom one-shouldered Oscar de la Renta oxblood gown with a high-low hemline that highlighted her glittering heels.

“I think, in this very divisive time, you see individuals who aren’t doing things alone, but are part of smaller groups that are f—ing rising up against oppressive forces in a really big, great way. Yes it’s a film, but we need to see that because it’s a scary f—ing time. So to play someone who’s part of fighting the good fight? I’m into that in a big way,” Daisy told the Toronto Sun about her new movie.
Daisy described herself as a cheating vegan in a video interview for Elle UK TV. “I sort of just become a cheagan, which is a cheating vegan – in that I cut out a lot of things.”
“I’ve cut out meat and dairy, and eggs; but I sometimes eat fish, because my moral compass is off,” the the British actress explained.
Accessorizing with Anita Ko ruby and diamond drop rope earrings and a Beladora ring, Daisy showed once again that she has an affinity for red.

Last month, she also wore red while making her way inside the Good Morning America studios in New York City.
She styled pintucked crepe straight-leg trousers from the Michael Kors Collection with a double-breasted blazer from the same designer, matching pumps from Jimmy Choo, crystal detailed round frame sunglasses from Miu Miu ($314 at Farfetch), and Nam Cho rhodium & black diamond studs.

The “Peter Rabbit” actress was also seen at the airport wearing checkerboard pattern Vans Ticker socks, Vans Old Skool skate shoes, a reversible puffer coat with multicolored fleece chevron and sleeve detailing that you can buy at Farm Rio, Lou & Grey fluffy sweatpants, a fisherman cap from Janessa Leone, and Oliver Peoples “Georgica” cat-eye sunglasses ($450 at Bergdorf Goodman).
