The queen of method dressing is back! Zendaya graced the Los Angeles premiere of her upcoming movie, The Drama, in a look that clearly nodded to the film’s wedding storyline, but still felt polished and completely her.

The Drama follows Emma Harwood (Zendaya), a bookstore clerk from Louisiana, and Charlie Thompson (Robert Pattinson), a British museum director, whose relationship is shaken when one partner discovers unsettling truths about the other just days before their wedding. Written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli, the film is set to release in the US on April 3.

Her outfit clearly leaned into that bridal aesthetic, soft and elegant with a really refined feel. What made it even better is that she didn’t just wear any white dress; she brought back her Vivienne Westwood silk satin gown from the 2015 Oscars and gave it a fresh, elevated update with her Christian Louboutin pumps and Chopard jewelry.

Zendaya Keeps It Sleek with White Christian Louboutin Pumps

Zendaya slipped into a pair of white Christian Louboutin “So Kate” pumps in glossy patent leather, a silhouette she has returned to time and again on the red carpet.

From black patent versions at the 2019 People’s Choice Awards to crisp white pairs throughout her Challengers press tour, the sharply pointed pump has become one of her most reliable style signatures.

Defined by its elongated toe box, dramatic arch, and towering 120mm stiletto, the “So Kate” delivers a sleek, uninterrupted line that complements everything from sculptural gowns to tailored looks. Here, the glossy finish echoed the sheen of her Vivienne Westwood dress, creating a seamless, almost bridal-like effect.

The result felt effortless but intentional—proof of how a minimalist pump, when cut this precisely, can elevate an entire look without competing for attention.

You can shop the Christian Louboutin “So Kate” pumps in a variety of colors and finishes at Nordstrom and Mytheresa, where the iconic silhouette is offered in everything from classic black patent to seasonal shades.

Zendaya Rewears Her Iconic Vivienne Westwood Dress from the 2015 Oscars

Zendaya’s Vivienne Westwood dress tied everything together. Made from ivory-white silk satin, it had a soft, luminous finish that instantly reminded me of a bridal gown. The fit was still impeccable, hugging her frame effortlessly just like it did back in 2015.

Its fitted bodice featured Vivienne Westwood’s signature draping, with a softly folded fabric overlay at the neckline that extended into off-the-shoulder straps. From there, the sheer draped panel continued around the back, tying into a delicate bow before cascading down behind her, adding movement.

The corseted waist added structure and definition, giving her that sculpted shape, while the skirt flowed into a sleek column silhouette with a short train. I liked how it balanced structure and softness, something Vivienne Westwood always does so well.

I really loved seeing her bring this dress back. Re-wearing pieces like this isn’t new in fashion; we’ve seen it with big names like Cate Blanchett, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Nicole Kidman, and it always feels refreshing.

Sleek Hair, Soft Glam, and a Hint of Chopard Shine

For accessories, Zendaya kept things minimal but elevated. She wore Chopard Haute Joaillerie diamond chandelier earrings, along with a few rings, including her custom Jessica McCormack East-West cushion diamond button-back ring and a Jessica McCormack Round Wire Fine Gold Band. By not wearing a necklace, she allowed the neckline and draping to stand out.

Her glam added a modern, sophisticated edge to the look. Instead of the dreadlocks she wore in 2015, she opted for a sleek, side-parted bob styled in soft, retro-inspired curls. Her makeup completed the effect, featuring flushed pink blush, defined lashes, and a soft, natural lip.

Why the “So Kate” Remains a Red Carpet Power Shoe

Zendaya’s latest appearance is another reminder that the Christian Louboutin “So Kate” isn’t just a trend-driven choice—it’s a timeless styling tool.

With its razor-sharp silhouette and leg-lengthening effect, the iconic pump continues to anchor everything from classic couture gowns to bold, modern statements across the red carpet.
