Speaking of Gwyneth Paltrow, the 38-year-old actress, singer, model and now author was seen rockin’ yet another fabulous pair of shoes at a recent photo op.
Gwyneth, who helped launched B&Q’s nine-meter tall edible garden at the 2011 Chelsea Flower Show last Monday, also took the opportunity to promote her new cookbook now retitled as “Notes from my Kitchen Table“.
Here’s Gwyneth promoting B&Q’s garden, the “grow your own food” ideaology and her new cookbook all at the same time:

Compared to other celebrities, Gwyneth has never really been that showy when it comes to clothes. Like this white button down top + white blazer + cropped khaki pants outfit, Gwyneth has always preferred clothing that are simple, well-fitting and minimalistic.
But when it comes to shoes, that’s when our girl brings her A-game. Gwyneth never fails to wear noteworthy shoes for her public appearances and that’s why we keep featuring her here on our blog.
For the 2011 Chelsea Flower Show last Monday, Gwyneth wore these very spring/summer-appropriate shoes:

They are these crossover leather strap wooden platform sandals from Givenchy:
With a thinner platform, a slimmer heel and a curvier crisscross strap design, Givenchy managed to make these trendy, 70s-inspired sandals look like timeless classics. At a $520.00 price point, we would definitely want to wear these over and over again, even if we’re not supposed to, just to get our money’s worth.
