The annual Capital FM Summertime Ball kicked off on June 9 in London, hosting some of the biggest names in pop music. To our delight, some hot shoes walked the arrival carpet before the many concerts began. If you’re looking to update your shoe collection this summer and need inspiration, allow this lineup to act as a small guide.
Take a look at the celebrities we spotted and what they wore before hitting the stage.
1. Taylor Swift in Office London Ankle-Strap Sandals
Taylor Swift sure has a thing for wearing shorts with frilly tops these days. Here, she paired her Oscar de la Renta separates with strappy Office London sandals, which ooze sex appeal. Her blunt bangs and shimmery eye makeup completed her summer-chic look.

2. Lisa Snowdon in Manolo Blahnik BB Metallic Pumps
The Manolo Blahnik BB pointy-toe pumps are popular among celebrities, and we love to see how they style these wardrobe essentials. Lisa Snowdon scored a perfect 10 in her metallic BBs, wearing them with a color-blocked tee and a posh leather skirt. It’s hard to believe this fashion model is 41.

3–4. The Saturdays in Black Sequin Ankle Boots and CJG “Pot of Gold” Platform Heels
British girl group The Saturdays (minus new mom Rochelle) wore matching ensembles, right down to their shoes. Una and Mollie both wore black sequin ankle boots, while Vanessa and Frankie both wore CJG’s elaborate “Pot of Gold” platform heels. The girls also wore different variations of the “Onyx” bodysuit from Nichole de Carle, except for Frankie, who hid her blossoming baby bump in a flowy tank.

Don’t forget to also check out these fun CJG heels, which feature t-straps with thorns and an all-over etched design.

5–6. Ellie Goulding in Nike “Dunk Sky Hi” Wedge Sneakers and Topshop “Lassie” Platform Sandals
Pop artist Ellie Goulding must have needed a wardrobe change because she walked the carpet in two different midriff-baring looks. The first was a playful black number matched with Nike “Dunk Sky Hi” wedge sneakers, and the second was a striped crop top paired with a black bondage skirt and funky platform sandals from Topshop. We think both looks are equally sizzling.
