Jessica Alba turned 35 on Thursday, and she received a not-so-welcoming early birthday present when her Honest Company was hit with another lawsuit, claiming its Organic Premium Infant Formula contains 11 “synthetic substances that are not allowed in organic products.”
Despite the ongoing legal drama, the mom-of-two appeared to be in good spirits while heading into her Santa Monica office on the day of her birthday.

Jessica went for her signature boho style, wearing a chic off-the-shoulder maxi dress by Self Portrait (available at Shopbop). It had a feminine sheer lace panel and an asymmetrical hemline that fell to her ankles.
The “Sin City” star teamed the flowing Bardot dress with a pair of black platform sandals. She accessorized the look with dangling earrings, a bracelet and a couple of rings. She had her hands full carrying a designer bag in one hand and a Barneys New York bag in the other.
Her shoulder-length beach waves and simple makeup completed her look.

Jessica’s sandals are called “Candy” by Saint Laurent. They are made of leather and feature knotted bows at the vamps, open toes, pintucked crisscross vamp straps, adjustable ankle straps, two-inch platforms and 4.75-inch high block heels.
