Kate Mara graced the red carpet with her stunning presence at the premiere of her new television series, House of Cards, in New York City.
She stole the spotlight in a shimmering dress from Dolce & Gabbana and Brian Atwood platform sandals in black satin.

The young actress always makes bold sartorial choices for red carpet events, such as teeming her Givenchy ruffle hem mini dress with Nicholas Kirkwood swirl pumps.
This time was no exception as she showed up for the premiere of her new show in a silver lace dress from Dolce & Gabbana that featured Victorian-style ruffles and crystal embellishments.

Her hair was styled in a bun, and she carried an embellished clutch from Judith Leiber. She finished her look with Brian Atwood’s “Aida” sandals in black satin.

Kate is no stranger to Brian Atwood, as she was previously featured wearing the designer’s “Maia” sandals at a film premiere last year. Her sister, Rooney Mara, was clad in the same black satin “Aida” sandals at the 2013 CFDA Awards.

These “Aida” sandals from Brian Atwood’s spring 2013 collection feature double platforms, buckled halter straps, and black satin. Fans of these gorgeous heels include Kate Beckinsale, Jaimie Alexander, and Carey Mulligan.
