Radar Online reports that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West met with Salma Hayek‘s billionaire husband, Francois-Henri Pinault, to negotiate a shoe deal.
As Pinault is the CEO of PPR, a French company which owns brands like Yves Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, and Balenciaga, we can assume that the made-for-reality-TV couple is dreaming up of their shoe line to be on the same level as those luxury labels.

You all know Kim’s background in shoes — she’s the spokesperson for ShoeDazzle and owns a shoe closet filled with designer shoes in every color of the rainbow.
As for Kanye, he actually has had more experience having designed a sneaker collection for Louis Vuitton, launched the Nike Air ‘Yeezy’ which fetched prices up to $90,000 and collaborated with Giuseppe Zanotti for the Spring 2012 collection of his Dw by Kanye West label.
They’re also experts at self-promotion. Given all that, looks like the two are set to unleash their shoe line to the world.
