Are You Ready for a Kim Kardashian X Kanye West Shoe Line?

Know how you can tell that things are getting pretty serious between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West?

No, not when Kim’s been spotted at wedding boutiques or Kanye’s been seen looking at engagement rings. It’s when reports come up that they’re looking to expand their personal brand by starting a shoe line together.

Kim Kardashian posted this image of herself and Kanye West on Instagram with the caption ‘Before ?? & After ??’.

Radar Online reports that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West met with Salma Hayek’s billionaire husband, Francois-Henri Pinault, to negotiate a shoe deal. As Pinault is the CEO of PPR, a French company which owns brands like Yves Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen and Balenciaga, we can assume that the made-for-reality-TV couple is dreaming up of their shoe line to be on the same level as those luxury labels.

You all know Kim’s background in shoes — she’s the spokesperson for ShoeDazzle and owns a shoe closet filled with designer shoes in every color of the rainbow.

As for Kanye, he actually has had more experience having designed a sneaker collection for Louis Vuitton, launched the Nike Air ‘Yeezy’ which fetched prices up to $90,000 and collaborated with Giuseppe Zanotti for the Spring 2012 collection of his Dw by Kanye West label.

They’re also experts at self-promotion. Given all that, looks like the two are set to unleash their shoe line to the world.

But what about you? Are you ready for “Kimye” shoes?

Actually, what we’d like to know is — what if the shoe line IS successful and they break up?
