During her Wednesday appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Paris Hilton confirmed that she had to cancel on President Biden to attend the wedding of her friend Britney Spears.
The reality star told guest host Chelsea Handler that she had been invited to DJ during the Summit of Americas event at the Getty Villa in Los Angeles, which was held on the same date as Britney’s wedding.
The star had to turn down the president as she wasn’t going to miss her friend’s wedding. They even offered to send her a helicopter so she could easily fly between the two events.

“And I’m like, ‘No, I’m not going to miss that.’ They’re like, ‘We’ll send a helicopter and you can fly back and forth’ and I’m like, ‘I’m not going to be the one landing in and out of Britney’s wedding in a helicopter.’ So I had to cancel on the president, sorry,” she shared.
Why are Britney Spears and Paris Hilton Friends?
“I saw her this summer. We’ve had dinners, I saw her in Malibu. I just love her so much,” said Hilton said about her friendship with Britney in a September 2020 interview with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.

“She is so sweet and so innocent and such a nice girl. We just talk about happy things. Music, fashion… fun things. I never like to bring up negative things and make people feel uncomfortable so I’ve never talked about [the conservatorship] with her.”
It’s not known how they met, but Paris has frequently been accused of using Britney for her fame. “Everybody around Britney is worried for her,” a source told Us about their friendship in 2006. “Paris is only out for publicity and is taking advantage of Britney’s fascination with her.”
Why Paris Hilton Canceled on the President
“I was actually asked to DJ for the president and all of the other presidents around the world for the dinner,” Paris explained on her This is Paris Podcast. “But this was more important to me,” she said of the wedding.

“I’m not going to go into any details because it was the princess bride’s night and that’s her story to tell,” Paris added. “But all I can say is that I’m so incredibly happy for her. She looked stunning and it just made me so happy to see that she found her fairytale.”
For her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Paris Hilton changed into a black Lanvin draped silk dress featuring an arpège jewel tie.

Her silk dress also boasts a scarf neck, wrap front, voluminous shoulders and sleeves, and an asymmetrical skirt. She styled her gorgeous dress with crystal-embellished black pumps.

In April 2016, Paris Hilton was taking London by storm! The socialite paraded a series of hot and chic outfits in Great Britain’s capital.
The day after her landing, the then-35-year-old heiress oozed hotness when she stepped out for a business meeting in Mayfair.

She slipped her slender frame into a nude-and-black semi-sheer mini dress by For Love & Lemons.

It had long sleeves, crochet details, and a thigh-skimming hem that put her endless legs on display.

Later that day, the “Stars are Blind” singer was spotted wearing the same ensemble at the launch party for Restaurant Ours in the Kensington area of London.
She drew further attention to her fishnet-wrapped legs by slipping into a pair of black heeled ankle boots by Alaia.

The rest of her accessories —a pair of diamond stud earrings by Tiffany & Co., a black cuff by Chanel, and a quilted Chanel bag — added more style to the look.
Beauty-wise, she styled her blonde locks in gorgeous waves and sported pink lipgloss and subtle smoky eyeshadow.

Paris picked a pair of patent leather-paneled suede ankle boots by Tunisian-born couturier and shoe designer Azzedine Alaïa.

Her statement boots have elasticated insets for flexibility, round toes, and about 4.5-inch heels.

You can order these Alaia boots for $1,890 at Farfetch and Net-a-Porter.
