The event was held in Toronto’s Bell Media Headquarters and was attended by many young Hollywood artists, including Taylor Swift and Avril Lavigne.

Demi wore a long-sleeved dress and Saint Laurent “Janis” pumps, both in black. The structured dress’s beautiful silver chain embellishments and the singer’s blond hair provided a break from the outfit’s solid black.

While we love the singer’s tousled blonde hair and super nude lipstick, they made her look a little washed out. The dress, however, worked for her perfectly and mirrored her personality.
