Known from the American reality television series Raising Asia, Asia Monet Ray is of African American, Mexican, and Filipino heritage.
Born on August 10, 2005, in Yorba Linda, California, she also appeared on the American reality television series Dance Moms and has starred in American Crime Story, Major Crimes, Sister Code, and two episodes of Grey’s Anatomy.

Asia appears as Jasmine Singh in two back-to-back episodes of Grey’s Anatomy, namely the eighteenth and nineteenth episodes of the twelfth season titled “There’s a Fine, Fine Line” and “I’m Only Bleeding.” They aired in April 2016 when Asia Monet Ray was 10 years old.

In March 2017, Asia Monet Ray looked much, much older than her actual age at the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
The then 11-year-old “Dance Moms” star stepped out on the red carpet in a black lace dress and black ankle-strap sandals. Asia looked pretty in her all-black ensemble, but was it age-appropriate?

The pint-sized beauty’s Marciano-branded black dress featured flirty sheer lace panels. It had a high neckline, long sleeves, and a scalloped trim.

Her hair was styled in two long braids, which showed off her earrings and glossy lips.

She wore a pair of black open-toe sandals, which feature a slender ankle strap, wide toe band, and low heel.

Asia also accessorized with a sparkly black piano bag from Kate Spade. It added fun and youthful element to her outfit.

Without the playful accessory, Asia’s look would have been drab in comparison to the more outrageous outfits at the event.

A few months later, the talented dancer also attended the premiere of The Emoji Movie in Los Angeles. She turned 12 on August 10, 2017.
