Filming for Overboard began in May 2017 in Vancouver and other locations across British Columbia. The featured yacht, renamed “Birthday Present” for the film, was Trinity Yachts’ 50m/164ft Aspen Alternative.
Only the exteriors and main salon were used on screen, with the interiors recreated on a set in Vancouver.
