On April 7, 2022, Ashanti was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles. The ceremony took place 20 years after the release of her self-titled debut album, celebrating her sustained influence on R&B.
She was awarded the 2,718th star in the Recording category, a milestone she described to Billboard as a “surreal” and permanent staple of her career.

“It’s surreal,” the Foolish hitmaker told Billboard. “I’m shocked, stunned, and over the top grateful. This is a staple in my career and the fact that it will be here forever is a big deal.”
“I’m grateful to the [Hollywood Chamber of Commerce] for doing this because as artists, we put so much into it, so many sacrifices, so to feel like we’re being rewarded with something that [lasts] forever is an honor.”

Ashanti attended the unveiling in a crisp white Alexander McQueen suit. The look centered on a single-breasted fitted blazer and matching form-fitting trousers.
By wearing the blazer as a standalone piece, she created a deep neckline that served as a backdrop for her layered jewelry.

The Army Wives star drew further attention to her décolletage by layering several XIVKarats necklaces around her neck, selected by stylist Tim B. She wore two emerald-and-diamond necklaces along with a sapphire-and-emerald pendant necklace.
She also added matching rings to the look, along with a pair of emerald-and-diamond earrings from the same Beverly Hills jewelry store.

Keeping a coordinated look, makeup artist Erika La’ Pearl applied glittery green eyeshadow to Ashanti’s lids. She also added Tatti Lashes’ fluffy TL3 mink lashes for a hint of drama.
Meanwhile, celebrity hairstylist Kalief Wolfe parted Ashanti’s long raven tresses on one side and tied them into a sleek low ponytail.

To complete her stunning head-to-toe white look, the Rock wit U singer slipped her feet into Gianvito Rossi’s “Montecarlo” sandals that you could buy in many colors at Farfetch.

Her heels from the celebrated Italian shoemaker are crafted from supple suede and white calf leather, traced with slender tubular straps dusted in light-catching crystals. The open pointed toes and delicate ankle ties balance precision with sparkle, all lifted by a sleek 4-inch stiletto.
A longtime devotee of the brand, Rihanna has also championed the silhouette—most notably styling the Gianvito Rossi “Montecarlo” sandals with a sculpting black LaQuan Smith gown for A$AP Rocky’s birthday in New York City, where the crystal-trimmed straps added just enough shimmer to sharpen the look.
