In October 2013, Carey Mulligan surprised everyone with her bold choice of color as she sauntered down the red carpet for the screening of Inside Llewyn Davis during the 57th BFI London Film Festival.

We mainly had seen her wearing spectacular dresses in dark hues, such as the black halter dress from Alexander McQueen that she wore to the New York Film Festival.

This time, however, she opted for a lovely lemon yellow dress from Christian Dior, which made her stand out among celebrities clad in monochromatic hues and autumn colors.

The British actress plays an angst-ridden folk singer in the musical drama directed by Joel and Ethan Coen. The film boasts a stellar cast, including Oscar Isaac, who plays the title role, and veteran actor John Goodman.

She turned heads in a structured strapless dress crafted from yellow matte silk and wool crepe—an elegant, modern silhouette that balanced sophistication with bold color.
