Johnny Depp’s libel case against The Sun’s publisher, News Group Newspapers (NGN), and executive editor, Dan Wootton, entered its second week on Monday.

London’s High Court has heard testimonies, evidence, and explosive claims from the Hollywood actor’s bodyguards and former employees. They testified for Johnny Depp and slammed Amber Heard, saying that the actress was the “antagonizer” in the relationship.

Amber, The Sun’s star witness, was also accused of “stealing” and “twisting” her former assistant’s sexual violence conversation with her.

Kate James, the former assistant, told the court: “to my utter shock and dismay, I discovered that Ms. Heard had in fact stolen my sexual violence conversation with her and twisted it into her own story to benefit herself. This of course caused me extreme distress and outrage that she would dare to attempt to use the most harrowing experience of my life as her own narrative.”

Amber Heard has been showing up at the High Court since day one after Johnny Depp’s lawyers failed in a bid to bar her from attending the trial until she’s called to give her statement and evidence.

A fashion stylist previously said that the 34-year-old actress “means business” when it comes to her outfit choices for the trial. And this week, Amber continued to power dress with black outfits and her favorite red scarf.

Fifth Day of Trial

On Monday, Amber wore a belted black skirt with a black button-down blouse. She styled her look with a black tweed blazer that features fringed hem and sleeves.
