In her February 2015 GQ interview, Emily Ratajkowski reflected on her experiences and career path. She talked about her role in the “Blurred Lines” music video, acknowledging that she hadn’t anticipated it would significantly boost her fame. She found it surprising and somewhat bizarre to gain recognition for this type of role suddenly.

Discussing her acting career, Ratajkowski mentioned her role in “Gone Girl.” She highlighted her ability to balance modeling and acting, expressing a preference for acting and hoping to establish herself as a serious actress. She had read the “Gone Girl” novel before getting involved in the film and found it very engaging.

Her experience working with Ben Affleck in “Gone Girl” was initially star-struck, but she quickly became comfortable with him. She described director David Fincher as both a perfectionist and supportive, creating a positive working environment.

While filming “Gone Girl” in a small town in Missouri, Ratajkowski recalled how the cast would hang out after filming, often congregating at the only restaurant open late. This led to humorous situations, especially considering some cast members’ strict diets juxtaposed with the local cuisine’s focus on fried food.

Lastly, she mentioned maintaining contact with some cast members, though she admitted it was challenging due to everyone’s busy schedules.
