Jessica Simpson celebrated Easter last weekend and took to Instagram to share adorable photos of her newborn daughter Birdie.
The 38-year-old singer and businesswoman and her husband Eric Johnson welcomed their third child last month and gave her a very unusual name: Birdie Mae.
She captioned the first photo “Happy Easter from the Johnson Family, Party of 5! 🐣🐇🐰.” It shows Jessica holding her daughter, 1 month, while Eric Johnson holds son Ace Knute Johnson, 5. Their oldest daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson, 7, stands in between them.
In a separate photo, Birdie Mae is sleeping in her bed wearing a ruffled floral dress and a white headband.
The last photo shows Maxwell Drew watching over her little sister. Jessica captioned the sweet photo, “Sisters.”
Jessica gave birth to Birdie Mae on March 19 after a challenging pregnancy that included swollen feet and hospitalization for bronchitis.
