Daisy Edgar-Jones shot to worldwide fame during the pandemic, thanks to her role as Marianne Sheridan in the Hulu hit series Normal People, which earned her nominations for a British Academy Television Award and a Golden Globe Award.

More recently, the 24-year-old actress has been garnering praise for her performance in her latest film, Where the Crawdads Sing.

At the 75th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland on Friday night, Edgar-Jones was honored with the Leopard Club acting award, which is given to “a great personality of the cinema who through her or his work has managed to mark the collective imagination.”

She may still be a red-carpet newbie, but Daisy just proved to everyone that she’s one to watch with her effortlessly chic fashion moments.

Gracing the red carpet at the Piazza Square, the Under the Banner of Heaven actress turned heads in a one-shoulder black midi dress by Conner Ives.

The American-born London-based fashion designer, known for his signature T-shirt dresses, was hired by Rihanna in 2021 to help create her first Fenty collection.

Daisy’s striking dress is cut from fluid silk-blend crepe and features colorful floral embroidery and an asymmetric hem trimmed with dramatic wispy fringing.

She let her dress take center stage as she opted to pair it with minimalistic black satin sandals from Jimmy Choo. She wore the “Minny” heels, which simply feature a single strap on the vamps and around the ankles.

Styled by Nicky Yates, the War of the Worlds actress added some sparkles to her look with Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

She accessorized with a pair of $22,000 mixed cluster flower-shaped earrings, a $4,500 diamond vine ring in platinum, and a $23,000 diamond vine band ring.

Her glam team gave her a fresh face look, with makeup artist Jasmin Berger highlighting her eyes with mascara and eyeliner. She also added a hint of pink lip color and matching blush and eyeshadow, while her shiny brunette hair was styled in loose waves.

The previous day, the Cold Feet star attended a photocall for Where the Crawdads Sing during the 2022 Locarno Film Festival.

She looked the epitome of elegance in a $3,900 Miu Miu dress, featuring a black above-the-knee A-line skirt and a cream beaded lace bodice with a classic collar and pearl-detailed front-button fastening.

Not related to lookalike actresses Dakota Johnson and Anne Hathaway, she kept things ladylike with a pair of flat Mary Janes, most likely from Miu Miu as well.

Creating a cohesive look, Daisy styled with a selection of gold Tiffany & Co. jewelry. She wore a pair of thin hoop earrings, a $1,990 Tiffany knot ring in yellow gold with diamonds, a $1,000 yellow gold knot ring, and a $5,800 double row ring.

She then opted for a radiant glam look with soft pink makeup and pulled her tresses back into a low bun with face-framing fringes.
