Dancing has clearly helped Julianne Hough stay in shape. And when she’s not dancing, the 34-year-old actress makes sure to work out and eat healthily.

Just recently, the professional dancer showcased her fit body on her way to Shubert Theatre for a matinee performance of her Broadway show “POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive.”

Parading her toned legs, Julianne wore a summery white shirt dress cut several inches above her knees. The striped number features a collar, cuffed long sleeves, and a wrap tie at the front.

She teamed it with white leather ankle boots and hid her eyes behind a pair of futuristic rectangular ombre sunglasses.

Wearing her blonde tresses in a messy updo, Julianne added thick gold hoop earrings, a pendant necklace, and multiple dainty rings to her look.

In an interview with US Weekly, Julianne said, “working out and staying healthy is part of my daily routine. I move my body every day doing a variety of workouts.”

With her tight Broadway schedule, the former America’s Got Talent judge relies on the plant-based organic meal delivery service Sakara.

“My Broadway schedule with POTUS has been very busy. The meals are delivered each week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I can take them with me to the theater to eat in between shows, or I can cook at home and enjoy them with a nice glass of Fresh Vine Wine for dinner.”

On Tuesday, the Footloose actress was spotted sipping a cup of coffee on her way to another Broadway performance.

She flaunted her hard-rock abs in a Brandon Maxwell “The Dawn” cropped black shirt, which you can get for $1,395 at Shopbop.

The collared short-sleeved number is made of cotton poplin and features a draped bodice with a pleated yoke, partial button placket, and a center back zipper.

Hough teamed her ab-baring black top with cream-colored Khaite jeans. The “Danielle” jeans are made from sturdy cotton denim and boast a five-pocket design with a flattering high waist and straight legs. They can be yours for $375 at Mytheresa.

To further highlight her tiny waist, Brooks Laich’s ex-wife added a wide black leather belt from Totême, available for $410 at Mytheresa.

Julianne Hough Living Her Broadway Dream

After starring in musical films like Rock of Ages and Footloose, Julianne Hough has finally realized her childhood dream of becoming a Broadway performer.

The 33-year-old actress made her Broadway debut in the Selina Fillinger play, POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive, directed by Susan Stroman.

It opened on Broadway on April 27 at the Shubert Theatre and is slated to close on August 14.

“I feel like I’m in theater school like when I was 10 years old. I’m just learning and getting a master class from Susan Stroman every single day, feeling like I’m growing as an artist and [in] my craft,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.

She plays Dusty, the President’s young and pregnant mistress, in the Broadway play, which is a political farce about the women running the White House. The all-women cast also includes Lilli Cooper, Lea DeLaria, Rachel Dratch, Suzy Nakamura, Julie White, and Vanessa Williams.

Speaking about her rather late Broadway debut, Hough told E! News that it’s all about timing. “There’s been conversations about coming to Broadway, but I didn’t just want to do this as a bucket list item and check it off my list.”

“I really wanted to do it in a way that was immersing myself in the community, learning and being part of versus just popping in and popping out.”

She revealed receiving a call in February about the play and said she couldn’t say no to it.

“I said, ‘This is one of the funniest things I’ve ever read!’ From the first word and first page of the script, even before I saw my character, I knew I had to do this.”

“There’s laughter from the minute you start the show to the end. There’s punching and slapping and a lot of physical comedy. It is wild beyond your actual dreams.”

Julianne Hough and Nina Dobrev’s Fresh Vine Wine Label

They say mixing friendship with business rarely works. But it seems not to be the case for long-time besties Julianne Hough and Nina Dobrev.

Last year, the two linked up with Napa Valley winemaker Jamey Whetstone to create the Fresh Vine Wine label, which focuses on producing gluten-free, low-carb, vegan wines.

The collection includes a Pinot Noir, California Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, California Rosé, a Limited Reserve Napa Cabernet, and the new Sauvignon Blanc.

“Julianne and I were inspired to create Fresh Vine Wines after noticing the growing number of consumers making healthier choices surrounding wellness and longevity while also searching for a wine that compliments their lifestyle choices instead of undermining them,” Dobrev said in a statement.

She added that they unwind with a glass of wine after work schedules, and “after meeting with the Fresh Vine Wine team, we immediately knew that this was an incredible opportunity to partner and together we could try to create something that evoked a guilt-free experience.”

Julianne Hough shared: “The very foundation of my friendship with Nina is built upon experiencing and sharing life together, always with a glass of wine in hand. We both lead very active and physical lifestyles, with a holistic approach, so we wanted to make a product that not only complimented our lives but was also still of premium quality and impeccable taste.”
