At the European premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker at Cineworld Leicester Square in London on December 18, 2019, Daisy Ridley closed out the sequel trilogy’s red-carpet run in a dramatic custom Vivienne Westwood Couture gown paired with custom vegan Jimmy Choo pumps.

While the film marked the end of the Skywalker Saga, the London premiere also highlighted the franchise’s long-running connection to dramatic red-carpet fashion and standout footwear.

Daisy Ridley balanced classic Vivienne Westwood corsetry with a cleaner modern silhouette, while her custom vegan Jimmy Choo pumps continued the sustainable footwear direction she introduced earlier that week at the Los Angeles premiere.

Co-star John Boyega also stood out in a traditional Nigerian Agbada with a matching Fila hat, adding a more personal dimension to the premiere’s formal dress code.

She wore a slicked-back hairstyle, courtesy of London-based hairstylist Dayaruci, allowing her to show off her beautiful features.

To complement her dress, she wore winged eyeliner with a hint of blue, finished off with plum lip color, by makeup artist Kelly Cornwell.

Daisy then accessorized with Tatiana Verstraeten earrings, a vintage sapphire ring, and a diamond ring from Beladora Jewelry.

She again opted for a pair of custom vegan Jimmy Choo pumps, similar to what she wore to the premiere in Los Angeles. Stylist Samantha McMillen put together Daisy’s stunning look.

The British actor wore a traditional dress in reference to his Nigerian roots. He wore a blue Agbada, which is a loose-fitting, wide-sleeved, embroidered robe worn by men in Nigeria.

Born in London to British-Nigerian parents, John Boyega paired the look with a traditional Yoruba Fila cap, commonly worn with Agbada ensembles in Nigerian formal attire.
