Natalie Portman is seldom seen at red carpet events with her choreographer husband Benjamin Millepied. However, two Saturdays ago, she hit the black carpet to support her spouse at his LA Dance Project Gala.

A few days earlier, she wore recycled shoes made from merino wool and repurposed plastic water bottles to Variety’s Power of Women luncheon. You can buy her eco-friendly shoes at Rothy’s. Scroll down to see the details!

Benjamin, who founded the LA Dance Project, looked dashing in a black suit with a matching dress shirt as he hosted the fund-raising event. His 38-year-old wife, who served as a co-chair for this year’s gala, turned heads in a sheer maxi dress.

The Black Swan star opted for a custom Dior number, which showed just enough flesh to look sexy in a subtle way. It’s made from white lace netting with embellished zigzag detailing and a striped bodice.

Her dress also features a see-through tiered skirt, which gave a peek at her legs, and sultry crossover straps at the back.

While a nude undergarment would’ve looked better with the embroidered white dress, Natalie still managed to make her black article underneath work.

Keeping the look classy, Natalie pulled her brown locks back into a tight bun with a deep side parting. She accentuated her features with a crimson lip shade, blush, and fierce-looking eye makeup with smoky eyeshadow and black mascara.

Natalie wore a pair of Beladora ‘Antique Georgian’ diamond earrings and rounded out her look with simple black sandals.

This look was far from her casual outfit preference at Variety’s Power of Women event in Los Angeles, where she joined a host of stars, including Mariah Carey, Jennifer Aniston, Brie Larson, Awkwafina, and Joey King.

For the occasion, Natalie opted to keep things simple with a combination of a red sweater from Celine and a pair of black trousers.

She styled her bronze hair in side-swept curls above her shoulders and sported nude makeup.

Natalie, who will be portraying female Thor in the upcoming Marvel movie Thor: Love and Thunder, looked ready for some action as she traded heels for a pair of cute black flats from Rothy’s.
