Gabrielle Union took a major fashion risk at the premiere of her movie “Breaking In” at ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood last night. She wore a turquoise-satin blouse featuring oversized ruffled collars, paired it with baggy, yellow pants, then topped it off with a wide-brimmed top hat and electric-blue eyeliner on her lower lash line.

Unfortunately, Gabrielle’s risk did not pay off. The 45-year-old actress ended up looking clownish rather than fashion-forward in her straight-off-the-runway Marc Jacobs Fall 2018 ensemble.
She did switch out the costume-y brogue shoes for Salvatore Ferragamo “Arsina” curved-wedge sandals ($824 at Matches Fashion), but the footwear change did little to save her look.

The Salvatore Ferragamo “Arsina” sandals prove that curved-wedge shoes are here to stay! Though not as extreme as Lady Gaga’s no-heel platforms, the 4.1-inch s-shaped wedges of these sandals are curved enough to give that floating heel illusion.
