Were you able to catch the Golden Globe Awards yesterday? Not a lot of visible shoes on the red carpet given how pretty much every famous face kept it extra formal with a floor-grazing frock for the event.
BUT we did manage to do a bit of research and find out what some of the gorgeous celebrities wore underneath their beautiful gowns. Here’s a round-up of some of the best-looking ones.
1. Taylor Swift in Rene Caovilla

Let’s start off our list with Taylor Swift. The country crooner, who usually favors sparkly nude and white on the red carpet, surprised everyone at the Globes by wearing a plum mermaid-cut gown by Donna Karan Atelier.

She finished her look with bow-tip crystal-embellished peep-toes by Rene Caovilla.

2. Julianne Hough in Jerome Rousseau
Julianne Hough walked the Golden Globes red carpet in an exquisite gown by Monique Lhuillier.

She finished her look with dark smoky eyes and a pair of gorgeous ankle-strap heels from Jerome C. Rousseau’s Spring 2013 collection. The ‘Zell’ shoes are unfortunately not available online.

We also love these glittering heels from luxury shoe designer Jerome C. Rousseau that we found at Shopbop.

3. Jennifer Lawrence in Brian Atwood
Apart from taking home a Globe, Jennifer Lawrence earned everyone’s nod with her drop-dead stunning strapless dress by Christian Dior.

She capped off the scarlet frock with an equally gorgeous pair of nude heels by Brian Atwood — the “Anais.”

4. Jessica Alba in Jimmy Choo
Jessica Alba attended the event in an exquisite coral-colored Oscar de la Renta gown paired with gorgeous wavy locks.

She reportedly capped off the look with some Jimmy Choo “Kalpa” sandals. No hard evidence is available as to which color of this particular style she wore, but you can find several renditions of the Kalpa at Nordstrom.

By the way, we hear Jessica’s Harry Winston necklace costs a whopping $5.8 million!

5. Zooey Deschanel in Casadei
Red obviously ruled the Golden Globes red carpet yesterday.

New Girl star Zooey Deschanel looked exceptionally stunning in her red strapless gown by Oscar de la Renta, which she reportedly capped off with an equally fiery pair of bow-tip peep-toe slingbacks by Casadei.
