Heidi Klum and her daughter, Leni, lit up the red carpet at the La Grazia opening night gala premiere during the 82nd Venice International Film Festival.

The two are known for making a stylish entrance wherever they go, and this time was no different. Their matching glamorous looks and their undeniable mother-daughter resemblance made them one of the most eye-catching pairs of the evening!

While I wasn’t surprised by their alluring, seductive outfit choice, which has become something of their signature, I was surprised to learn that both gowns were custom-made by Intimissimi, an Italian brand known for its sleepwear and lingerie.

Since Heidi and Leni became ambassadors for the Italian brand in 2022, it makes sense they’d wear it. Still, seeing Intimissimi step into red-carpet territory with designs that felt so sophisticated and couture-like was unexpected. And honestly, I thought they pulled it off!

The gowns featured clear elements of lingerie, including a corset bodice, sheer fabric, and a body-hugging silhouette. Still, they were carefully crafted to appear glamorous and ready for the red carpet. Heidi and Leni stood out from the more traditional gowns at the Venice Film Festival thanks to their gowns’ unique blend of intimacy and high fashion.

Here’s a closer look at what they wore.

Heidi Klum Radiates Goddess-Like Glamour in Rose Satin Intimissimi Gown and Aquazzura Heels

Heidi Klum proved her red-carpet prowess in a breathtaking rose satin gown that fused sensuality with couture-level elegance. The dress featured a corset bodice with boning, expertly tailored to accentuate her model frame. It also boasted structured bra cups with a plunging sweetheart neckline, lending it a lingerie-inspired edge, while the sheer paneling at the sides accentuated her hourglass silhouette.

What made the gown more captivating were the off-the-shoulder straps, which added a soft, romantic touch, and the asymmetric satin drape skirt that ran diagonally across her waist and hips, creating soft folds that brought movement and depth to the design.

These details gave the outfit an almost ethereal, otherworldly vibe. And with the opulent rose satin catching the light beautifully, Heidi appeared radiant and goddess-like as she floated on the red carpet.

Polished Touch: Tyler Ellis Purse, Lorraine Schwartz Diamonds & Aquazzura Sandals

Heidi carried her film festival essentials in a nude Tyler Ellis Lee Pouchette envelope-style purse to go with her dress. Sleek and minimalist, it added a polished finishing touch to her look.

Her jewelry, though, was anything but understated. She accessorized her ensemble with Lorraine Schwartz pieces, including a stunning collar necklace with two rows of diamonds and a dramatic diamond teardrop pendant at the center. She added statement diamond earrings to the look, along with stacked rings for extra sparkle.

Heidi’s beauty look carried the same sultry energy as her gown. She styled her dirty blonde hair in voluminous waves that fell over her shoulders, with wispy bangs perfectly framing her face while adding to the romantic vibe of her outfit. Her dramatic makeup included smoky eyeshadow, eyeliner, and nude lips.

A pair of Aquazzura “So Nude” sandals completed Heidi’s ensemble. They were made of supple leather in a blush color that complemented her dress perfectly, making her legs appear longer. The minimalist design featured slim slingback straps, an open toe, and a sleek 4-inch stiletto heel.

Their barely there silhouette added to the look’s overall elegance while allowing the gown’s dramatic corsetry to take center stage.

You can get these timeless Aquazzura sandals for $805 at Farfetch.

Leni Klum Stuns in Sultry Black Intimissimi Gown and Roger Vivier Crystal-Ball Heels

Leni Klum made a striking appearance on the Venice red carpet, complementing her mother Heidi’s lingerie gown but with a bolder, darker twist. While Heidi chose a romantic blush tone, Leni opted for a sultry black one, also custom-made by Intimissimi. Hers leaned into a darker, more seductive vibe ideally suited to her age and rising star status.

Like Heidi’s gown, Leni’s dress featured a plunging sweetheart neckline with sculpted bra cups and underwire that gave structure and definition to the bodice. Sheer paneling along the torso and covered boning accentuated her frame, giving the look an undeniably alluring edge.

One of the most striking details of Leni’s gown was the set of side cutouts that extended toward the back, enhancing its bold, seductive appeal. The thin shoulder straps provided minimal support, while the corset lacing at the back added another sensual, lingerie-inspired detail. This gown was actually inspired by Intimissimi’s Handcrafted Luxury Anna Bandeau Top, reimagined here as a bold evening gown.

Unlike Heidi’s dress, which featured a dramatic asymmetrical draping, Leni’s silk skirt was sleek and straightforward. It ran straight down, skimming her frame before trailing into a short, sweeping train. The clean, minimalist lines provided the perfect contrast to the intricate corset bodice.

Regal Finishing Touch: Lorraine Schwartz Necklace, Natural Glam & Roger Vivier Sandals

To bring color and contrast to her all-black outfit, Leni wore a statement necklace with diamonds and emeralds by Lorraine Schwartz. It instantly elevated her look, giving her sultry gown a regal finish. She eschewed other jewelry, making the necklace stand out.

Leni opted for sultry yet natural beauty glam. She framed her small face with her brunette hair, which was styled in loose, undone waves with a center part. Her makeup was minimal yet impactful, featuring defined eyeliner and mascara that accentuated her blue eyes, and nude lips that kept the look soft and youthful.

While her shoes were mainly hidden beneath the hem of her gown, glimpses revealed black heels adorned with a sparkling crystal-ball detail at the base. She appeared to be wearing Roger Vivier’s modern “Marlene” sandals, a design inspired by a shoe Vivier created for Marlene Dietrich. You can buy them for $1,290 at Net-a-Porter.

The jewel-heel concept — a high heel topped with a rhinestone-studded sphere — is widely regarded as a groundbreaking moment in shoe history, although accounts differ on the exact timing. Some sources cite 1953, when Vivier began designing for Christian Dior, while others point to a 1955 patent of a similar design under Dior-Delman. Today, the house honors that legacy with the “Vivier Marlene” line, which reimagines the iconic jeweled heel in contemporary pumps and sandals.

With their square, open-toe design and a delicate ankle strap, these sandals added a refined yet alluring finish to Leni’s look.
