In an interview with E! News at the 2022 G’Day AAA Arts Gala, the book author shared the secret to their successful 20-year relationship.

While she refused to “stand on a soapbox” and give advice to couples, Isla Fisher revealed that relationships work “if you marry someone that you have a really good friendship with, and everything seems to fall into place.”
“You still get butterflies in your stomach and people sort of tell you that wears off after a few years. But when you’re with the right person, actually it just doesn’t.”

At the joint event for G’Day USA and the American Australian Association, Isla Fisher was honored with the Excellence in the Arts Award for her “outstanding performances in film and television projects including Wedding Crashers, Arrested Development, Wolf Like Me, and Nocturnal Animals.”
Imagine Entertainment’s Brian Grazer and Ron Howard were also awarded the Innovation in Entertainment for their impact on the Australian film industry.

She wore a pair of $6,900 sapphire and diamond dangling earrings, a matching diamond bracelet, and a statement ring with a sapphire center surrounded by emerald and diamonds.

Hairstylist Rikke Gajda styled Isla’s signature ginger tresses down in loose waves, while makeup artist Mai Quynh applied dewy makeup with peachy blush and lip color.
Adding a few inches to her 5’2” height, Isla slipped her feet into a pair of mirror metallic silver heels from Jimmy Choo. They have 4-inch heels, sparkling ankle straps, and open toes.
