At the 10th Annual Breakthrough Prize Ceremony on Saturday, Kim Kardashian and her momager, Kris Jenner, led the fashion pack in stunning black and white outfits that epitomized Yin and Yang.

Leading figures in Hollywood, technology, and business came together at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles for the event hosted by James Corden and organized by Breakthrough Prize Foundation founder, entrepreneur, physicist, and investor Yuri Milner.
Dubbed the “Oscars of Science,” the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony highlights the noteworthy achievements and discoveries made by scientists in mathematics, fundamental physics, and life sciences.
Winners received $3 million each, sponsored by personal foundations established by Google co-founder Sergey Brin, Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, Alibaba Group founder Jack Ma, and Tencent CEO Ma Huateng.
Sultry in White: Kim Kardashian Highlights Curves in Leather Bandage Dress by Alaia
Among the stars who graced the event, Kim Kardashian stood out in a white croc-embossed leather dress designed especially for the SKIMS founder by Tunisian couturier and shoe designer Alaia.
I wasn’t surprised by her outfit choice; she usually favors form-fitting dresses that display her famous hourglass curves.
Sticking with her go-to silhouette, Kim wore a bandage-style dress cut from white leather with an exotic-looking croc-embossed design. While the material can be hot on the skin, it can also provide a visually appealing, sultry look, as Kim demonstrated.

The reality star has undoubtedly mastered rocking tight leather dresses and pulling them off with an easy, sensual vibe. I admire the sleek, contemporary look of leather clothing, but I don’t think I’ll ever feel comfortable wearing it.
The Alaia bodycon dress clings to her figure well. It comes with a crisscross halterneck strap that accentuates her shoulders and creates a boob window showcasing the socialite’s ample cleavage. In addition, there are side slits and cutouts for extra allure, but I can’t help but think they’re meant to provide some ventilation.

Kim’s 5’2” height is accentuated by her transparent PVC platform heels, visible through the back split of her form-fitting bodycon dress.
Although they go well with Kim’s dress, I have reservations about her footwear choice. I could easily trip over the thick transparent platforms and towering clear heels and break my ankles as I tried to keep my balance. The PVC transparent straps are also not breathable, increasing the risk of foot sweating.
Kim once told Ellen DeGeneres on her program that she would forgo comfort in favor of style. “It doesn’t matter how difficult or lengthy the task is; I don’t care if I have to wear a diaper or hold off on using the restroom.”

To highlight Kim Kardashian’s seductive appearance, Chris Appleton complemented her ensemble with a single Lorraine Schwartz ring.
I like how Dani Levi enhanced Kim’s seductive evening look. She fashioned her waist-length raven tresses in a greasy, wet-look style and gave her smokey bronze eyeshadow with curled lashes and two-toned glossy nude-brown lipstick.
Her long, dark, pointy nails finished off her captivating presence.

Sheer Sophistication: Kris Jenner Exudes Power in Black
The Yin to Kim’s Yang, Kris Jenner, appeared in her element, wearing a black blazer over a black gown. I feel like I’ve seen this before, or maybe it’s because she wears blazers virtually all the time that it’s becoming repetitive.
I initially thought she was clad in a suit, but as she walked the red carpet, it became apparent she was wearing a black gown.
It has a mock neck with a sheer decolletage, exposing her bralette designed with a flattering sweetheart neckline. It also appears to have a satin cummerbund highlighting her waist before flowing into a floor-sweeping column skirt.

While others may disagree, I think Jenner looks fantastic. At 68, she still has the confidence to wear seductively revealing outfits, which I admire. But to make it clear, I’m not a fan of this look; it’s too somber, in my opinion.
I like the jacket, particularly the feminine peplum and cuff details. But I would have appreciated it much more if Kris had worn it with sleek pants and a white top underneath or with pants and no shirt.
She styled the look with square-shaped black and diamond earrings and rounded out her glam with her signature pixie hairstyle, smokey eye makeup, peachy blush, and nude lipstick.
