Elisabeth Moss and Kate Mara have been making the rounds on the press circuit to promote their Apple TV+ psychological thriller miniseries, Imperfect Women. Both actresses, standing just over 5’2″ and wearing a US shoe size 7, lean into smart styling that elongates their petite frames—think sharp pumps, leg-lengthening minis, and clean, streamlined silhouettes.

Lately, Mara has pushed things further, experimenting with bolder colors and more directional shapes that add a fresh, fashion-forward edge to her press tour wardrobe.

She’s been wearing striking pieces from Carolina Herrera and Prabal Gurung, paired with bold heels from Duha and Giuseppe Zanotti. Moss, however, has stuck to a more classic and understated look, opting for elegant dresses and sophisticated, shiny heels.

Imperfect Women, now on Apple TV, is based on the novel by Araminta Hall and centers around three college friends—Mary (Elisabeth Moss), Eleanor (Kerry Washington), and Nancy (Kate Mara)—living in the Los Angeles area.

Their decade-long friendship is shattered when Nancy is found dead in what appears to be a homicide. As Eleanor and Mary search for answers, they uncover a web of secrets within their friendship that neither of them ever imagined.

Kate Mara Pops in Red Duha Sandals and a Yellow Carolina Herrera Mini Dress

Kate Mara stepped out in style outside ABC Studio, effortlessly mixing bold red tones with playful retro vibes.

She wore the stunning $565 Duha “BB” sandals, made from luxurious satin in the brand’s signature “Fiesta” color. The rich, glossy satin finish gave them a sophisticated shine, making them impossible to miss.

These sandals featured ankle straps that crisscrossed at the front, with the outer strap having a wider, sculptural bow-like design, giving them a cool, unique vibe. The open square toe and the slim strap across the toes made them both chic and comfortable, while the cushioned insole, featuring logo embossing, added an extra level of comfort.

With a 3.5-inch lacquered heel, these sandals had just the right amount of height to boost Kate Mara’s petite frame.

The striking red sandals were the perfect match for her yellow checkered Carolina Herrera Spring 2026 mini dress. The dress brought out major retro vibes with its halter neck and flattering bodice, while its thigh-skimming skirt with a ruffled hem added a playful touch.

Though the dress came with a tonal checkered belt that would have enhanced the vintage feel, Mara opted to skip it, letting the dress do the talking. The vibrant red flower embroidery tied beautifully with her shoes, elevating her overall look.

To complete the ensemble, Kate draped a gray jacket over her shoulders. What made it extra special were the 3D red flower appliqués, which gave it a bold, unique touch. Her tousled waves, paired with soft makeup and dark nail polish, wrapped up the look’s stylish yet casual vibe.

Kate Mara Goes Futuristic in Silver Pumps and a Mint Prabal Gurung Mini Dress

Kate Mara showed up to the PaleyLive event for the Apple TV series Imperfect Women, making a bold statement in silver metallic pumps.

The mirror-reflective finish, along with the sharp pointed toes and stiletto heels, instantly elevated her look, giving off a sleek, powerful vibe while adding the perfect touch of futuristic flair.

Mara paired the pumps with a stunning mint green mini dress from Prabal Gurung’s Fall 2025 collection. Gurung is known for his bold, glamorous designs that mix vibrant colors, structured shapes, and a modern, romantic feel, and you could totally see that in Mara’s dress.

The structured, folded neckline gave it an architectural edge, while the side hip cutouts added just the right amount of allure, showing a bit of skin. Finished with a thigh-skimming hem and practical front pockets, the look showcased her legs in the most flattering way.

To add even more shine, Mara accessorized with a chunky silver necklace and rings. Her neat bun showcased a diamond ear cuff, rounding out her chic, futuristic vibe.

Kate Mara Sharpens a White Mini Dress With Nude Giuseppe Zanotti Sandals

Outside Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Kate Mara effortlessly nailed a sleek, professional, and sophisticated look.

She slipped into a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti “Intriigo” sandals in nude patent leather, a style we’ve been seeing a lot lately on red carpets, including on stars like Anya Taylor-Joy at the Vanity Fair Oscars party and Renate Reinsve at the Oscars ceremony.

These sandals featured an alluring, sharp, open-toe design, a slim strap across the toes, and an ankle strap. The tall stiletto heels added just the right amount of height, giving Kate that extra confident posture as she walked.

Mara’s nude sandals paired perfectly with her white mini dress, creating a clean and sophisticated look. The dress itself was simple yet chic, with a fitted silhouette and a thigh-skimming hem that showed off her legs.

To elevate the outfit further, Kate draped an oversized black blazer over her shoulders, adding a professional touch.

The standout detail? The stunning silver crystal-encrusted leaf-shaped necklace around her neck. It was the perfect accessory to complete her simple white dress, adding just the right touch of sparkle and sophistication.

Elisabeth Moss Brightens The View in Brown Slingbacks and a Head-to-Toe Orange Look

Elisabeth Moss joined Kate Mara on The View, wearing a stunning, bright orange look that complemented Mara perfectly.

I loved the boldness of her outfit, and the brown satin pumps she paired with it added just the right touch of sophistication. The pumps had a soft sheen that instantly elevated her look, featuring a slingback strap, pointed toes, and slim heels. They were simple, yet elegant, and the color worked so well with her orange ensemble.

Moss wore an orange coat with a neat collar and gold-tone front buttons, giving it a chic, classic feel. Underneath, she wore a matching knee-length orange shift dress, creating a seamless, cohesive look.

Her accessories, hair, and makeup were kept simple and minimalist, letting the bold color of her outfit truly shine.

Elisabeth Moss Elevates a Navy Self-Portrait Dress With Gold Alexandre Birman Sandals

At the PaleyLive event for Imperfect Women, Elisabeth Moss looked nothing short of stunning in a navy-blue Self-Portrait dress paired with pale gold Alexandre Birman heels, and I loved how they struck the perfect balance between sophisticated and feminine.

Elisabeth Moss wore the Alexandre Birman “Clarita” sandals in gold-tone nappa leather, their soft sheen catching the light with every step. Defined by the brand’s signature bow detailing at the toes and ankles, the design strikes a balance between delicacy and structure, adding a subtly feminine finish to her look.

The Clarita silhouette has long been a red carpet favorite, with stars like Diane Kruger styling the sandals with sharp, architectural pieces for contrast, proving how easily the bow-accented design can shift from soft to modern.

Elsewhere, Yvonne Strahovski opted for a more minimalist approach, pairing her Clarita sandals with clean, tailored silhouettes that let the refined details of the shoe take center stage.

With open toes and slim stiletto heels, the sandals combined a delicate, refined look with a playful touch. Her heels retail for $695 at Farfetch.

Moss paired the gold sandals with a $795 navy blue boucle midi dress by Self-Portrait, and together they were regal. Metallic threads were woven into the boucle fabric, giving the dress a luxurious texture and subtle sheen, making it even more captivating.

The dress was fitted at the top, with braided accents around the neck and sleeves and frayed trims that added an effortlessly chic vibe. The fuller skirt flared beautifully, with braided accents running down the front and a frayed hem.

Elisabeth Moss Adds Gold Platform Sandals to Relaxed Neutral Tailoring

On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Elisabeth Moss opted for a more business-inspired look, keeping things neutral and elegant, like Kate Mara. What stood out to me was how her shoes really elevated the whole outfit.

She wore a pair of metallic gold platform sandals with thick block heels, adding height and drama to her ensemble. The bows on the front straps added a feminine touch that perfectly balanced the bold heels.

Moss paired the sandals with a beige top and loose trousers, creating a relaxed yet polished vibe. To finish off the look, she draped a dark brown coat over her shoulders, bringing a touch of warmth and sophistication to the neutral tones.
