Keanu Reeves and Gray Haired Alexandra Grant Make Rare Public Display of Affection at MOCA Gala 2023

Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant spent date night at the MOCA Gala 2023 and made a rare public display of affection for all the world to see.

Keanu Reeves is 58 years old, and Alexandra Grant is 50, which means there is an 8-year age difference between the two.

Grant’s uniqueness lies in her lack of interest in conforming to societal norms. In an interview with British Vogue, she stated, “I’m a 6ft 1in woman with white hair. You know, the idea of fitting in… If I wanted to look like Kim Kardashian, I would have to have surgery removing about a foot off my legs.”

Why doesn t Alexandra Grant dye her hair?

One topic that continues to garner attention is Grant’s hair. When the public first became aware of her, many believed she was older than she actually is due to her silver locks. However, Grant revealed that she actually went gray prematurely in her early twenties.

Grant posted on Instagram, revealing why she stopped dyeing her hair and sharing a screenshot of an article about a study linking hair dye and chemical hair straighteners to breast cancer.

Her post exclaimed, “Wow. Today’s news… The numbers are staggering, especially for womxn of color.” Grant continued to share her personal story, “I went gray prematurely in my early 20s… and dyed my hair every color along the way until I couldn’t tolerate the toxicity of the dyes anymore. In my 30s, I let my hair turn ‘blonde.'”

She expressed her support for women’s ability to choose their appearance, stating, “I love and support that every womxn can choose how she wants to look at every age.” However, she added, “But/and, if womxn are perishing from beauty standards… then let’s talk about those beauty standards. Love to all womxn!”

Access Hollywood captured the moment the longtime couple kissed on the red carpet, much to everyone’s surprise.

The lovebirds looked lovingly at each other and were all smiles as they held hands and posed for photographs together.

Alexandra Grant was difficult to miss in her bright red floral print gown, which featured a sleeveless design and a floor-length skirt.

Meanwhile, the John Wick star wore a navy suit with a striped tie and brown lace-up shoes.

You may remember that the couple was last seen publicly together at last year’s Museum of Contemporary Art Gala.

Alexandra Grant was also wearing a red dress, and the Speed actor was also in a navy suit with a striped tie and brown dress shoes.

In a recent interview with People magazine’s “One Last Thing” segment, Keanu Reeves made everyone swoon when he said that his most recent experience of “bliss” was just “a couple of days ago with my honey.”

He fondly recounted that the two of them “were in bed” and “were connected.” They were also “smiling and laughing and giggling. Feeling great.”

Keanu Reeves rarely makes comments about his personal life, but he did add that in that moment, “[it] was just really nice to be together.”

Meanwhile, Alexandra Grant is an expert at dodging questions about her love life. When asked if marriage interested her, she coyly replied: “Over a glass of wine… I would love to tell you.”

She continued, “Love at every level is deeply important to my identity.

“I do not believe that isolation is the way,” the award-winning visual artist added. “There is a period of isolation that I do as a painter, but I deeply value the experience of being in relationships.”
