During a scene outside the Supreme Court building, Gaga, who plays the passionate lover of the notorious Batman villain, stopped in front of a woman holding a newspaper featuring the Joker and her character, Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel, with the headline “Crazy in Love.”
In a moment of pure spontaneity, Gaga put her hands on the woman’s face and planted a full-on kiss on her, capturing the attention of bystanders and onlookers alike.

Gaga was dressed in a red, white, and blue flowery ensemble, paired with a vintage 1960s crushed dark blue velvet coat with black faux fur trim and black harlequin stockings with a hole in one knee.

Her hair was tied back in a half ponytail, revealing her dark roots, and her makeup was kept minimal to maintain the character’s edgy appeal.
She completed her ensemble and carried a Kilner Goods upcycled 70s-inspired chevron color-block leather hobo bag, adding a touch of bohemian chic to her look.

On set with Gaga was her co-star Joaquin Phoenix, who donned the Joker’s trademark red and white outfit and makeup, standing to the left of Quinn, watching as the scene unfolded.
Earlier this week, the first set of photographs from the film surfaced online, showcasing Gaga’s striking costume and clown makeup for the movie.

Sporting a scarlet jacket, diamond-print blouse, black skirt, and ankle-length Charles Jourdan Cecil boots paired with geometric-patterned Emilio Cavallini Losanges tights, Gaga looked every bit the part of the alluring Harley Quinn.

She was spotted standing in the crowd while Gotham police officers attempted to lead her outside the building. Alongside Gaga, protesters could be seen holding signs that read “Free Joker,” “Justice 4 Joker,” “Joker Marry Me,” and “No Justice Not Guilty Not Joking.”
After the shooting, the actress layered her outfit with a dark blue jacket to stay warm from the chilly weather.

Now, she takes on the challenge of portraying the beloved yet dangerous Harley Quinn, following in the footsteps of Margot Robbie‘s portrayal in previous DC films, including Suicide Squad and Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey.

The original Joker was a box office success, grossing over $1 billion worldwide and becoming the highest-earning R-rated movie ever. It also won two Academy Awards in 2020: Phoenix for Best Actor and Hildur Gunadóttir for Best Original Score.
