Lea Michele was filled with joy as she eagerly anticipated her fourth appearance at the Met Gala. The talented actress and musician expressed her excitement just hours before gracing the red carpet.
As a guest of Michael Kors, who also designed her stunning dress, Michele was thrilled to join the celebration honoring the legendary Karl Lagerfeld, despite being a seasoned attendee herself.
However, there was another iconic figure that Michele and Kors aimed to pay homage to with their Met Gala attire: the one and only Barbra Streisand.

Lea Michele made a triumphant return to the Met Gala after a nine-year absence. She dazzled the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City crowd, adorned in a magnificent sequined silver gown by Michael Kors.
The gown featured long sleeves, an open back, a bow accentuating the chest, and a keyhole cut, elegantly accompanied by a matching choker. Completing her ensemble, Michele carried a metallic clutch purse and wore Flower Strass buckle platform sandals by Roger Vivier.
With her brown locks styled in a bob, the native New Yorker perfectly complemented her flashy fashion ensemble.

Michele debuted a chic bob haircut, complemented by the expert touch of celebrity makeup artist Carolina Gonzales, who used top-notch Armani beauty products and Tweezerman tools
Throughout the evening, Michele was spotted dancing with fellow stars such as Kerry Washington, Brian Tyree Henry, and Vanessa Hudgens, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the event.
Michele’s glamorous look was meticulously curated by her dedicated team, which included stylist Brian Meller, hairstylist Ryan Richman, makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez, and others who contributed to her impeccable appearance.

In July 2016, Lea left the 901 Salon in Los Angeles looking gorgeous with her new brunette hairstyle.
Idina Menzel’s lookalike wore a black plunging bodysuit underneath a denim jacket by Madewell and paired both pieces with white jeans from J Brand.

The “Glee” actress finished her look with a black choker from Shay, Ray-Ban sunglasses, a Saint Laurent “Monogram Blogger” bag, and a pair of black leather Valentino “Rockstud” pointed-toe pumps.

Lea previously had blonde highlights, which she switched out in favor of a darker shade.
The actress uploaded a side view photo of her new hair, captioned, “BYE BYE BLONDE! Thank you @nikkilee901 and @riawnacapri for my gorgeous new BRUNETTE BEAUTY hair! 💕😘”

We don’t perceive a significant distinction between the new style and Lea’s previous appearance if you ask for our opinion. Nonetheless, we must acknowledge that she still retains her inherent cuteness!

You can order the iconic Valentino “Rockstud” pumps on Nordstrom and Farfetch.
