It’s been a busy month for Lizzo! In addition to her new Amazon Prime reality competition series Watch Out for the Big Grrrls, the Grammy-winning artist recently released her latest single, About Damn Time, hosted SNL over the weekend, and launched her new shapewear line, Yitty, in collaboration with Fabletics.
Almost five years in the making, Yitty, named after Lizzo’s childhood nickname, features styles designed for “every damn body” and includes sizes ranging from XS to 6X.

Proving she’s her own best advertisement, the 33-year-old singer modeled pieces from her shapewear collection on her way to The Today Show to promote her latest ventures.
The Juice hitmaker wore the $84.95 black “Mesh Me” bodysuit with the $69.95 “Major Label” high-waist leggings.
She kept her curves under wraps as she layered a glossy pink coat with faux fur collar and cuffs over her shapewear, finished with floral slides.

Styled by Jason Rembert, Time’s 2019 Entertainer of the Year elevated her laid-back outfit with a pair of drop earrings and diamond rings.
She had her nails done by Eri Ishizu, while her tresses were coiffed into a chic braided updo by Shelby Swain.
Wearing a matching pink face mask, Lizzo completed her glammed-up look with coordinating pink eyeshadow and black eyeliner, applied by makeup artist Alexx Mayo.

In 2019, Lizzo already made an appearance as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live. But on the latest episode of the sketch comedy, she performed double duty as both host and musical guest.
She debuted “Special,” which is the title track from her upcoming fourth album of the same name, set to be released in July. The hiking enthusiast also performed her latest single, About Damn Time, and showed off her fluting and twerking skills.

“I have spent the entirety of my life trying to change the way that I look or reshape my body,” Lizzo told Forbes in March 2022.
“As if I had to inflict some sort of pain upon it to fit into an archetype or a standard of beauty. I’ve been wearing shapewear—tight-pinching corsets and underwear bottoms—for a very long time, since I was in fifth or sixth grade. It was really painful, and I really felt that it shouldn’t be this way. We shouldn’t be ashamed of our bodies, and we shouldn’t have to wear these contraptions to feel beautiful.”
