Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, welcomed the transitional season in style while visiting the Angela Marmont Centre (AMC) for UK Biodiversity at London’s Natural History Museum on Wednesday.

The scientific hub is dedicated to the study of the UK’s natural world, particularly the wildlife. It also “helps public visitors identify their finds, provides vital training in wildlife identification and leads research and citizen science projects that are helping to transform our understanding of the more than 80,000 species of wildlife known to exist in the UK today.”

Kate Middleton, who is a patron of the museum since 2013, met with the museum staff to learn about its campaigning efforts and groundbreaking research to protect UK wildlife.

The Duchess explored the museum as well. She examined some of the museum’s collection of British insect and plant specimens and even got to watch DNA sequencing in action.

For her visit, the mother-of-three embraced fall season’s biggest trends in high-street glam fashion. She went for autumnal colors, teaming a berry-colored high-neck top from Warehouse with olive green wide-legged culottes from Jigsaw.

She looked effortlessly chic in her culottes (£89 at Jigsaw) featuring a relaxed fit with elasticated waist and front pockets. Her £39 sweater (available at Warehouse) has pointelle texture at the yoke and sleeves and scalloped detailing at the high neckline and cuffs.

Her Royal Highness mixed her high-street branded outfit with high-fashion brands for her accessories.

She carried a color-coordinating Nouvelle quilted flap bag with a patterned enamel top handle from Chanel’s Fall 2016/2017 collection. The mother-of-three also styled her look with diamond pave oak leaf earrings from Asprey’s Woodland collection and her favorite Tod’s pumps.

The Italian-crafted leather pumps also come in a matching burgundy color. They feature two-tone fringe details, gold buckle, and 4-inch block heels.
Unfortunately, these are from Tod’s 2015 collection and are no longer available for purchase.
