Many of you didn’t like these particular Louboutin shoes when we first featured them on Taylor Swift, but like most Louboutin shoes, they’re still being spotted on the feet of celebrities. Celebrity after celebrity has been spotted in these standout Louboutin sandals, further cementing their popularity despite initial mixed reactions.

As you might recall, Taylor Swift wore her Christian Louboutin “Dufoura” sandals to the 40 Principales Awards 2013 in Madrid, Spain. The clear PVC ankle wrap visibly showed humidity and sweat, a common issue with this material, as it tends to trap heat and moisture.
She styled them with a sparkly shift dress featuring a deep rectangular chest cutout from Kaufmanfranco, jewelry from Ofira and Lorraine Schwartz, and long wavy hair.

Standout shoes like these aren’t going to escape us, so we immediately recognized them on Teresa Palmer when she wore them to the ‘Warm Bodies’ New York premiere the very next day.

Possibly cursing the photographers under her breath for not waiting until she got inside the venue and making her stand outside in the cold, the Australian actress, writer, producer, and model bravely posed for the cameras in a jacquard sleeveless cropped top and a balloon miniskirt.
Though beautifully finishing her look, the Christian Louboutin ‘Dufoura’ sandals didn’t offer much warmth. Despite the cold weather, the PVC ankle wrap clearly shows moisture and sweat buildup

Those are two white-hot looks from Taylor and Teresa. For you, though, who wore the Christian Louboutin ‘Dufoura’ sandals better, Taylor Swift or Teresa Palmer?
Many other celebrities have worn them, including Cassie, who styled them on BET’s 106 & Park with a casual yet edgy look. While at the Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas, Jenny McCarthy paired her Christian Louboutin “Dufoura” sandals with a coral-and-white tunic and turquoise bikini.
While the clear PVC ankle wrap has been criticized for trapping moisture and showing sweat, it also provides a modern, futuristic look that gives the shoes their standout factor. The transparent design allows for a more elongated leg line and blends seamlessly with the skin tone, making them visually appealing, especially on red carpets.

They also come in this neon PVC, pink metallic leather, gray suede, red heel, and platform version:
