In April 2012, Australian graphic artist Peter White made a rare appearance with his wife Michelle Monaghan while leaving The Kings Road Cafe, an American eatery in Los Angeles.

They met at a party in 2000 and tied the knot in Sydney five years later. They married in Queensland in her husband’s native Australia in August 2015.
“We got all my family and friends over there, and it was sort of a week of festivities. The finale of the festivities was the wedding, and it was really pretty informal and really, really beautiful, of course, as anyone would say about their wedding,” she said in an interview with Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
After living a few years in New York City, they moved cross-country to Los Angeles in 2008. In a 2016 interview published in Instyle, Michelle shared that Peter loves their view of the San Bernardino Mountains.
“This house has beautiful light, and we get incredible sunrises,” said the actress. They have two children—daughter Willow Katherine White (2008) and son Tommy Francis White (2013).

In a 2011 interview with Health, the Machine Gun Preacher actress said Peter White possibly saved her life when he discovered a suspicious mole.
“A few years ago I had a mole on the back of my calf, and [my husband Peter White] was adamant that I get it checked,” she told the American magazine. “In Australia, they’re very aware of skin cancer. I finally went and it was skin cancer. I had quite the chunk taken out of my leg. I’m so grateful he noticed it.”

In June 2015, Michelle Monaghan hit the red carpet with Adam Sandler at the premiere of their new movie Pixels held at Regal E-Walk in New York City. They were joined by their co-stars Peter Dinklage, Jane Krakowski, and Ashley Benson.
The then 39-year-old American actress sported a feminine top and an unflattering flamenco skirt from the Erdem Resort 2016 collection featuring cascading ruffles.
