For the outdoor adventure, Kate dressed down in a pair of fitted black jeans teamed with a $3,258 Seeland Hawker pine green quilted puffer jacket.

Underneath her outerwear, Kate donned a cashmere knitted top in smoky quartz that you can buy for $140 at Boden.

She looked all-set for the recreation, trading in her usual heeled pumps for her trusty brown suede boots from French label See by Chloe.

They’re a pair of ankle boots with leather trims, logo-embossed heel tabs, a lace-up fastening, and chunky lug soles with low stacked heels.

Wearing a protective helmet throughout the activities, Kate tied her tresses into a ponytail and wore her signature makeup look that included subtle smokey eyes and neutral-colored blush.

She then rounded out her look with an understated pair of hoop earrings and her Garrard & Co. sapphire and diamond engagement ring.

3 months earlier, the Duchess of Cambridge announced that she will be launching a new foundation to help kids and their parents.

The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood will help “raise awareness of why the first five years of life are just so important for our future life outcomes, and what we can do as a society to embrace this golden opportunity to create a happier, more mentally healthy, more nurturing society.”

“Our first five years lay important foundations for our future selves. This period is when we first learn to manage our emotions and impulses, to care and to empathize, and thus ultimately to establish healthy relationships with ourselves and others,” Kate wrote in the foreword to Big Change Starts Small report written in collaboration with The Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University and the London School of Economics.

“It is a time when our experience of the world around us, and the way that molds our development, can have a lifelong impact on our future mental and physical wellbeing,” Kate added. “Indeed, what shapes our childhood shapes the adults and the parents we become.”
