“I’m always kind of naked, kind of classy,” Halsey joked on the red carpet when describing her dress at the 2019 MTV VMAs on Monday at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
She was nominated for Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration for “Boy With Luv” with BTS, Video for Good for “Nightmare,” Best Art Direction for “Boy With Luv” and Best Choreography for “Boy With Luv.”

The 24-year-old “Without Me” singer debuted her rainbow-parted hair in an orange underwear-inspired sheer crepe organza dress with flower appliques from the Dundas Fall 2019 Couture Collection that made her look ready for Halloween.

Revealing her black bra and bondage-inspired lingerie from the D9 collection, she completed her goth princess look with towering black strappy Tao sandals from Jimmy Choo ($750 at Matches Fashion and Farfetch).

The playful Tao adds interest and intrigue to your looks thanks to the spaghetti straps that wind and twist around the foot and ankle.

Confident and chic, this black nappa leather heel will pair perfectly with your favorite little black dress.

Earlier this summer, Halsey also performed at the 2019 Capital Summertime Ball held at Wembley Stadium in London, England.

At the 2019 Met Gala celebrating the opening of the “Camp: Notes on Fashion” exhibition, Halsey turned heads in a bright red Atelier Prabal Gurung two-piece dress ($19,995 at Moda Operandi) featuring a full-length slit skirt paired with matching Brother Vellies pointy-toed shoes. She accessorized with Jennifer Fisher jewelry.
