Despite not being biological sisters and being 17 years apart in age, Nicole Richie and Sofia Richie share a sisterly bond. On Saturday, the two turned the Annual Baby2Baby Gala into a family affair as they posed together on the red carpet with their respective husbands, Joel Madden and Elliot Grainge.
Making a rare red-carpet appearance together, the Richie siblings twinned in matching sleek hairstyles and vampy turtleneck dresses, with Nicole in Alberta Ferretti and Sofia in Chanel.

The former reality TV Star showcased her signature gothic style, channeling Morticia Addams in a floor-length turtleneck gown cut from luxurious deep red velour fabric. It clung perfectly to her figure and featured long sleeves, a floor-sweeping train, and a ruffled open back that displayed her wing tattoo.
Nicole, 42, styled her impressive look with gleaming jewelry from her brand, House of Harlow 1960. She wore a large pair of oval drop earrings and several rings, including the Bespoke Madera Garnet ring.
Jamie Mizrahi, who also styles Riley Keough, Leslie Mann, and Jennifer Lawrence, curated Nicole’s evening ensemble.

Gregory Russell pulled Nicole’s tresses back into a sleek glossy knot. At the same time, Mai Quynh finished her glamorous gothic look with smokey red eyeshadow, heavy peachy blush, and dark coral lip color.
At one point on the red carpet, Nicole was pictured with her husband of 17 years, Joel Madden, who chose to wear a black tuxedo suit with white-soled black sneakers and a black fedora.

Meanwhile, Sofia, Nicole’s youngest sibling, opted for a black turtleneck dress from Chanel’s Pre-Fall 2018 collection.
The 25-year-old social media personality dazzled in the archival outfit, which featured a tiered bodice made of layered fabric with glimmering black ribbons. It had black feathers around the hips, finished with a long sheer skirt.
Sofia accessorized her outfit with multiple rings and earrings from David Yurman, a brand for which she is an ambassador.
She was styled by Emma Jade Morrison, whose high-profile clients include Emily Ratajkowski, Martha Hunt, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Alexandra Daddario.

To boost her 5ft 4 ½ (163.8 cm) height, Sofia slipped her feet into a pair of black suede peep-toe sandals.
Chanel makeup artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua gave Sofia a bronzed makeup look with nude lipstick while hairstylist Kathleen slicked her blonde locks back into a neat, braided bun.
Sofia brought along her husband, Elliot Grainge, who was dapper in a three-piece black suit, a matching necktie, a white shirt, and a pair of dress shoes.

Nicole Richie is the adopted daughter of iconic singer-songwriter Lionel Richie. Her biological parents were friends of Lionel’s who could not provide for Nicole financially. At nine years old, she was legally adopted by Lionel and his then-wife, Brenda Harvey.
Nicole has been married to Good Charlotte lead vocalist Joel Madden since 2006. The couple has two children together: a daughter born in 2008 and a son born in 2009.
On the other hand, Sofia is Lionel Richie’s youngest child with his second wife, Diane Alexander. She is Michael Jackson’s goddaughter and is close with his daughter, Paris Jackson.
Sofia dated Justin Bieber in 2016 and had an on-and-off relationship with Kourtney Kardashian’s ex Scott Disick from 2017 to 2020. In April 2021, she began dating music executive Elliot Grainge, son of the chairman and CEO of Universal Music Group, Lucian Grainge. They married on April 22, 2023, in the south of France.
