American Idol has finally returned to our TV screens.

Marking its milestone season, the reality singing competition premiered on ABC on Sunday, with Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie back on the judging panel.

On Thursday, the 37-year-old singer made the promotional rounds for the long-running talent show’s 20th season. According to The Wall Street Journal, she is reportedly paid $25 million per season.

Heading to Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Katy Perry put her trimmed-down figure on display in an all-black faux-leather outfit from Aleksandre Akhalkatsishvili—a Georgian designer known for his signature minimalist, straight-line silhouettes.

After facing weeks of pregnancy speculation, the Firework hitmaker showed a glimpse of her stomach in a cropped wrap blazer and matching straight-leg wrap pants.

Her $715 jacket has a wrapped silhouette, a plunging collared neckline, tie accents around the waist, and dual flap pockets at the bust, while her pants feature the same crossover wrap design at the front and a flattering high-rise fit.

Creating a streamlined look, Katy Perry slipped her feet into a pair of shiny black sandals from American fashion designer Tom Ford, selected by stylist Tatiana Waterford.

The “Velvet Disco” platform sandals are defined by the clessidra-shaped heels that measure about 5.5 inches high. They also have one-inch platforms, open toes, suede straps, and wraparound ankle straps.

Originally priced at $1,250, online consignment store Vestiaire Collective has these high-end sandals for $2,600.

Beauty-wise, Katy wore pink lip color and subtle smokey eyeshadow with winged eyeliner, care of Michael Anthony. Her raven tresses were swept into a chic updo with loosely curled tendrils styled by Jesus Guerrero.

Last Tuesday, Taylor Schilling’s lookalike turned heads outside ABC Studios ahead of her appearance on Good Morning America.

She again showed a glimpse of her tummy in a leather ensemble, this time from Rotate Birger Christensen—a Copenhagen-based label known for its party dresses in bold silhouettes and colors.

Katy wore the “Emili” strapless cropped top, which you can buy for $190 at Net-A-Porter. It’s cut from snake-effect vegan leather and designed in a bandeau shape.

To balance the cropped silhouette, Katy paired the tiny number with the “Rotie” high-waisted brown faux-leather pants.

Available for $220 at Moda Operandi, these pants have a wide ankle-length cut from the brand’s signature glossy faux leather with a textured snakeskin effect.

The Roar singer then layered her showstopping outfit with a matching snake-effect vegan leather coat, called the “Jodie,” which retails for $445 at Net-A-Porter. It’s designed in a longline silhouette with oversized notched lapels and a nipped-in waist.

Keeping the 2000s popstar vibe going, Katy accessorized with Oliver Peoples x Fai Khadra square-framed gradient sunglasses and carried a $537 Yuzefi “Tempura” structured shoulder bag.

She also styled her look with a $475 Saint Laurent Bolo Tie necklace and a pair of $180 Poche Heart lock earrings.
