On February 12, 2022, Heidi Klum arrived with her husband Tom Kaulitz at Maxim’s Electric Nights, presented by DIRECTV in Los Angeles… and boy, did she arrive.
Klum wore a mauve lace-up, cutout dress from the Dundas Spring 2022 ready-to-wear collection, and according to Vogue, “Sexy is second nature to Dundas, so there’s no learning curve.”

At least, there shouldn’t have been a learning curve. To start, the dress itself looked fantastic on Heidi Klum, as the pinky-perfect color perfectly complemented her tanned physique. However, everything else about this outfit was just plain distressing.
Klum paired the dress with a super-fluffy beige coat, which appeared to be made of some sort of feathers and sparkly stuff, making it look as if the supermodel was wearing an homage to Penny Lane from Almost Famous.
Unfortunately, the coat was far too busy and overwhelmed the dress, making it difficult to discern where you’re supposed to be looking — the intricate cut-outs on the dress or whatever the fluff is going on with the coat?

It was hot during the party, so there really was no sensible reason for Klum to be wearing the coat other than for modesty. We don’t blame her for wanting to leave a little bit to the imagination (the Dundas dress is basically just a high-fashion loincloth) but if that’s the case, she should have worn something else.
Both the dress and the coat are wonderful on their own, but together, it made Klum look like an extra in the Hustlers movie — a dancer wearing a fur coat over her dress after she gets off stage.
Even more stripper-esque, Klum finished off the outfit with a pair of perspex heels. They aren’t clear Pleaser sandal heels, but worse — some sort of mule with a clear upper and a sole that looks like a pink sponge. They don’t look comfortable, and style-wise, the Pleasers would have been preferable.

For the record, we love a good homage to strip club chic, but Heidi Klum didn’t pull it off.
Though the outfit was disappointing, you have to give Klum props for that hair. Speaking of Penny Lane, those soft bangs and pulled-back loose waves are to die for — we’d love to see this hair paired with the coat for a more boho-inspired look… but with a different dress.

Heidi Klum’s outfit at Maxim’s Electric Nights is a perfect example of “too much of a good thing.” All of these pieces (except the shoes, sorry) are great on their own, but simply don’t work when worn together.
One month earlier, the 48-year-old America’s Got Talent judge wore a plunging black vinyl blazer from Lanvin and matching faux-leather skintight pants from Commando to the premiere of Moonfall held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

In August 2014, it was reported that Heidi Klum had sold her gorgeous Brentwood home for $24 million. Having bought it for “just” $14.2 million in 2010, the then 41-year-old made a lot of money on the sale.

With Mel B, Howie Mandel, and Nick Cannon, Heidi Klum hit the red carpet at America’s Got Talent post-show event in New York City.
The former supermodel donned a white satin suit from the Roberto Cavalli Resort 2015 collection, which she accessorized with jewelry by American bespoke high jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz.

Fashion critics did not like the suit, which features peak lapels and rich gold embroidery throughout, and suggested that she burn it.
While barely visible, Heidi Klum completed the outfit with a pair of snake-print leather sandals from Giuseppe Zanotti’s Spring 2014 collection.
How do you like Heidi Klum’s white-and-gold printed suit? The sandals were previously available at Farfetch but are unfortunately sold out now.
